Snake Venom SacThese take forever to spawn in N. Ro. I started killing large rattlesnakes to get them to pop. I'm still not sure that helped, but I did get two after three large rattlesnake kills...
I found them in south North Ro near the last wall of sand dunes. None seem to spawn above the middle of the map.

Kill everything between the tunnel and Greemi Draygoon to get them to spawn.

I think SoE must have forgotten to restock the Commonlands with Giant Rattlesnakes. I even tracked them with my druid and couldn't find any, day or night.

where are these in the new commonlands? had no problem before the change in zones from east and west commonlands. are they in the new zone?
Because willowisps and plains cats are not KOS to the guards in the Commonlands, the populations of other mobs (which are KOS) are severely depleted.

Looking for Giant Snakes in North RO desert. Anyone seen them? Need 5 for quest. I have seen lots of the little ones but no Giant ones.

Near the desert edge around the entrance to North Ro. Does anyone know where it roams in North Ro? Gotta kill 5 of them there. Haven't seen one yet!

I think they're just about right - I'm a ninth level Bard and I've seen from yellow to blue. After getting killed several times, I've decided that it was time to take the plunge and go to Level 10 and go for broke. I should be able to find one that's light blue for 10 someplace...

its hella good xp... darkness, send pet, fear, lifetap if your bored, rinse, repeat
the fangs are good to give to your pet... weigh 3stoned, a lot less than the rusty or bronze id been carrying around

More difficult than the standard snakes, poison is tougher and lasts slightly longer.

Okay, here's the problem. There are both Giant Rattlesnakes and Rattlesnakes wandering around N. Ro and S. Ro. To an 11, all of the rattlesnakes will probably be green. However, Giant Rattlesnakes won't necessarily be. I know that when I was 9th, I soloed both blue and white Giant Rattlers in N. Ro. Now, undoubtedly, some of those blues would be green to a 11th, but those whites wouldn't be.

These snakes conned GREEN to me at lvl 11, and i have seen 'bout 15 of em, all green. I think the lvl range is a lil' high, huh?

This is where you get Giant snake fangs from. which are a good low level pierce weapon. 5/27 i believe
