Minimum amount of players to challenge him is more than 6. I just tried challenging him with 6 players and he says "Ha! There aint 'nuff of you to challenge us!"
No they aren't mezzable. Friends slow, cordagan doesn't. Friends also rampage iirc.
The a/e is a cumulative effect, at 200 AT we still got drunk effects later in the fight. Spells and procs are also resisted randomly, I think when you have the a/e effect on you.
Gave this guy a whirl today. Cordagan and his friends are indifferent until you start the script up. Hailing him gets a text (for some reason my log didn't catch it) with [Challenge Cordagan] in it. You say the key words and he responds:
Cordagan Boulderfist says 'You hear that everyone? These puny creatures think they can beat us! I hope you are ready, 'cause here we go!'
After about 5 secs him and his friends become KoS and begin to wail on you. Highest hit on me with 28% shielding was 6018, but most were 1600s at 3100 ac. He did not rampage. My offtanks say the adds were hitting for 2ks.
The adds can't be seperated from Cordagan. We tried several times. Once they get too far from him all the mobs become unhittable and return to spawn where they respawn as indifferent mobs again. Also wipeing returns them almost immediately to the starting state, so its not a blowable event.
He used 2 AEs. The breath listed above(never saw him use version I or III only version II) which is not completely accurate. Even at 270 alchohol tolerance all of us were getting at least mildly drunk. He also used Cordagan's Crushing Fist. This seemed pretty easy to resist though.
His friends have a lot of hps. Probably about half of cordagan. Might be worth just killing Cordagan first and offtanking the friends.
Kiting his friends would be the best way to defeat him. If you kill the adds they just respawn and you gain nothing. I don't know if they summon so may wanna use what ever non-damage aggro you have available.
If you have a kiter that will work, but its not what I meant by seperating. What I meant is you can't(or at least we can't) pull Cordagon in a manner where he pulls single and leaves his friends behind without aggro.
He may have used 1 and 3 aswell, I didn't pay very close attention to it. It also might be chosen based on the # of people on his aggro list, we had about 30.
Really fun fight ;) Kill his friends and go to town. ;)
