Kill him with monk 72 and bard 71 with 2 merc healer and tank easy fight.

I think they may have changed this guy.
Fought him today and was hit with a different AE. It was still called the "Void Touch" but was a HP and Mana dot. Was about 375per tick if I remember correctly.
He also only hit me for a max of 1680 (72 Sk, 2273 AC)

At lvl 80 this mob is yellow so some one needs to figure out what lvl he realy is!!
it has to be 81 since it is DB to my 82 ranger
dont be fooled by his size he isnt as hard as he looks =)
spawns to the right of the madman. We just camp spiders so seems like static spiders east of the madman are PHs.
Pretty much similar in difficulty as drentik the mad. and twice the hp of the spiders. just try to avoid spider repops.

I killed this tonight with my Shm Clr Dru and gimp War 15.6k hp 2500ac all defencive aas.Tanked it deicently. Had a Ranger friend and some Necro helping. Max hit on Gimpie (Aaha)was 1908. Hits fast. Slow landed "SLIGHTLY". I just Mashed the heal button and pluged my nose.
Got a leather P.S and the Mask.
It was a challange to camp there, but my 4 and 2 friends did it.
Im sure i can 4 box it with a few more mashes of the heal button.

Killed him today with a group of just-entered-Tacvi geared peeps, a Shadowknight tank, SHM WIZ RNG CLR ROG, no problems. Had about 100k-125k HPs, went down fast.

The Void seems to be a random spawn of any mob in the pit on the east half of it. Have seen him spawn in several spots over there and have yet to see him spawn on the west half. Here's the stats for the mask he drops.

I just duo'd him with a 75 Monk and 71 Shaman, his stupid endurance drain is annoying for sure.

Is there a Ph for The Void? Our group killed many things over and over in the Pit and spawned a number of Named many times over...but not once during the night did The Void spawn for us. Any clues would be appreciated...<wink>

One of my guildys was with a grp camping this guy & discovered that, this mob can also drop an earring that is nice.

The Void is not a raid encounter in my experience. We've done him with a single group quite easily (Tacvi/MPG trial geared). He does indeed hit hard, but the trash hits for 2k+ here anyhow.
