Mistmoore Battle DrumsI came to this room today. LVL 48 Bard with my tank merc. Invisd here, only the skele and the will ravegers see through it. When I arrived in the room there were three werewolves, the one closest to the door had a lute on him. I killed them all and he in fact was holding her loot. Im waiting for the repop to see if she will spawn or just the werewolves again. But the werewolf did infact drop her lute.

She will stun/mez often during fight.
The drum is the common drop vs. the lute.
Ph's are the 3 mobs near piano in the gypsy room. Be careful pulling outside the room 1/10 times the entire castle will come.

Killed her a couple nights ago helping my bro get his Maid fang (which didnt drop) and now she does not have a pet any more. She still casts (not sure what, i got battle spam from the other mobs in the room beating on me)i killed her and got the lute. About 20-25 minutes later she spawned again and dropped the drums. Both spawns were in the day time hours.

Why does everyone just want to tell stories instead of giving useful info? Several times people have asked what spawn rate is, and nowhere can i find the answer?

Ok, I camped this for a couple hours the other night. When I got to the ballroom it had 3 werewolves and a gypsy dancer in it. I had to kill the mobs around the outer part of the ballroom, and then took out the werewolves and dancer.{side note, got werewolf pelt, claws, and paw} About 25 minutes later, a mixture of 4 gypsy dancers and musicians popped. (If u invis and sit along wall on side opposite piano you dont have to worry about the mobs along upper part of ballroom. I did this about 5 times, with about 25 minutes between pops, and Mynthi then popped at the piano. Took her out, and got my Mistmoore Battle Drums.

Been here 2 days now, no pop. Cleared the room more times than I want to remember. In fact, the only named I have seen so far is the Cloaked Dhampyre and he has only spawned twice while I have been camping him for the cloak for my baby Monk.

Was watching my friend play his Wizard, taking the ball room from what i have read.
Any way he got charmed and was sent to attack some people sitting at the door. Was fun watching newbies drop right and left from AoE's

Just fyi a 55 Wizard can easy take this room out. I needed instruments and lambent for my bard and thought id get them myself... nfp (main trade zone on Saryrn) gets so boring. Soloed one and one untill path to room and the first mobs in room was clear. Just hit IC and Voltaic draught and you wont be hit at all! Then just solo pull the gypsys. This lady have bout 900hp cus she dies after one IC.

this is equaly as easy for a druid .simply walk into the corner closest to the ent to the castle ,and then let your invis fall as you cast winged death on her ...her and her compadres will beat on you for a sec ..but if you dot all 3 they will easely all die befor they can kil you .
with your back to the wall they cant interupt you if you need a heal ,or need to gate after looting .
however be sure to use resist magic as she will charm you <as you mentioned> and if the dot kills her while you are charmed ther is no corpse left for you to loot,as you are technicly LD.

ok first off ALL CASTERS CAST from #8 slot when charmed, unless u have a defensive spell there, or a buff, then mob will just inturrupt your casting. NOW ANY ONE KNOW THE SPAWN RATE OF THIS GIRL? (avoids use of other pronoun that was on my mind)

Unless im reading your post wrong your saying that you always cast from spell slot 8 when charmed. If that is what your saying its not totally true. I was charmed one day in tofs by the boss mob on the 6th floor and ended up slowing and ebolting the warrior in in the group. My slow and ebolt are slots 1 and 4.

this room is not an easy room to camp but it is possable (room as in this one bard) i use a 53pally and i can take 4 camp's on with some good down time but man when i hit this chick i cam to a dead halt 8( now i have to med because i have no chose but to stun all the time LOL
well to make a long story short be smart med up to full have DoT's heal's root's and stun's up if can and just go nut's on her because she well become some what of a pain if you take a little long she because's fatle if you take a long time because well you know regen blah blah blah

Myself, 35 shammy, my ranger friend lvl 40, and a high level necro (51) went after her to try to get the MM battle drums. Its not east being that she spawns in a room with about 15-20 mobs just waiting to train your ***** On top of that on the way to the zone we encountered some nasty nasty battles, theres no trains like MM trains. The first time we tried to kill her we started a train, ranger and i were killed necro feigned death...Tonight were going back for revenge.

Without any twinks or power levelers, or any High level Buddies helping out even, what level do you reccomend before trying to take on this bad sweet talker? With a full group. or with a nearly one.

Ok, all this info about her charming is good. Does anyone have information on a spawn time? Or, (my guess) do we think its totally random like the AC or something. Was in there with a 45 druid and 45 pally. Had to evac and regroup the first time, experimentally picking one of the mobs outside the room to start with, and had too many adds. Next we went in (invis and wolfform of course again) and set up just to the right on top by the stairs. Had no problem clearing the room then. One scryvener or the like adds from outside the room, but that was it. Now that we have it down, does anyone have info on a spawn time if there is one? Thanks yall and safe hunting

when i was fighting her earlier, she charmed 3 of my group members, hell or what, and even worse, they were the casters, OUCH 250dd. just thought id worn u!

At least on the Xegony server it seems that this NPC no longer exists. While waiting to get the fangs from the butler and the maid for the Electrum Bladed Wakazashi my friend and I were also killing the ballroom in hopes that we would be able to aquire the drums for our bardic friend. (seems we have a lot of friends). We were in the area for two days and around 8 hours a shot we even stayed the extra day to see if she would spawn. At level 52 (rng) 54 (clr) 52 (enc) 53 (mnk) we were killing the entire castle and courtyard with a great deal of downtime.
To put a point on it after around 16 hours or more killing in the area she never spawned once. Has anyone noticed a mob that triggers her spawn other then killing the gypsies in the ballroom? Or is she usually this rare of a spawn?

Yes. A 53 shaman could probably solo the room; I know that me (56 wizzy) and my 54 wizzy friend have farmed that castle like you wouldnt believe. (And thats with no healer or chanter, just 2 wizards using AEs; ie - supernova, and the Jyll line) I'd imagine that you could solo the room, since you can heal yourself :-) ...

When charmed, you can cast any and all memorized spells.
My spell order is this:
1- Chloroblast (heal)
2- Regrowth (regen)
3- Spirit of Wolf (duh)
4- Scoriae (nuke)
5- Grasping Roots (duh)
6- Winged Death (DoT)
7- Buff (natureskin or girdle of karana)
8- Gate
and, when I got charmed by that chick Liona Parlone in najena, I went and wasted a newbie raid with scoriae. Hehe. I also noticed that my mana did not decrease when I was casting.
so, yes, you do cast when charmed, and yes, you cast any and all memorized spells.

Mobs CAN get charmed players to cast. One day when I was like lvl 16 I went to Felwithe... then just as I pass by the lake some BIG nuke hits me and I see the message *You have been slain by Zerowaphex* (I dont remember if thats the right name but something like that). As im bound quite a few zones away I send him a tell, and besides im asking myself WTF is going on this is a blue server not PvP... no I didnt accept any duel... he then tells me he was soloing an NPC and got charmed, and killed 2 other players too. (Dont remember the name of the NPC). We both petitioned
(I really HATE being killed in zones that are safe for me) and the GM answer was *there are no safe zones in Norrath). Grrrr... :p
