Aggro bounced back and forth between 80 SK and 85 Zerker
Min Hit - 219 Max Hit - 889 Avg Hit - 424 Avg DPS - 217 HP - 475,000
Very simple by todays standards. Keep the deaths of the gobbies relatively close and if your dps is worth a nickle you'll have him down before he goes invulnerable. Mages use magic nukes, nobody use fire.
These tasks are now fun again. Just downed with 2 groups, lvl 60-82, no cleric, 2 shamans in low 70s. Fun raid and now very fast. Just remember that in order to make this guy targetable you need to kill all 3 goblin mobs around him close to the same time. They only "woke" up 1 time for us after we realized there were 3 of them and not 2. Only doing for the AAs to increase buff slots and stats. Enjoy.
Clean to his room (big space - easy with strong force). Then you have 3 shamies and Emoush
If shamies are "Alive" then Emoush is Invulnerable.
Shamies can be beaten to a death like collapse - but revive/respanw after 2-3 minutes (exact time was not measured).
Shamies can not be mezed or rooted - need to beat them down to 5%ish - then tank mez (i.e. tank with healer bangs on em to keep aggro).
Lather, Rinse & Repeat with the other 2 shamies. Then kill all 3 ASAP (and someone should start a timmer).
Emoush then is targetable - and you will wana go FULL DPS On him. After time - Shamies revive/respawn - and Emoush is again invulnerable. He WILL Regen while you re-smack down the shamies (GOOD idea to have their bodies spread out and assigned teams ready to go TROMP them fast).
When last shamie again down - Emoush again can be hit. As I recall my chanter did finally land a slow on him (think I only ever got tepid deeds on him (50%) - but he is VERY resistant. Wana tash and use no-resist malo - and then best malo type spell that can stick. Have Wizies/Druids call out which is landing better (fire or cold is way better but I forget which one it is).
This is not a hard raid - and if you a raiding guild it will be cake. If you in a pick-up raid (which I ran and won) - then its more of a challange. Just get a strong leader and explain the plan and assign teams to each shammie.
Good Luck.
Nethor - cleric (of former TZ) Kaneela - The Rathe
Emoush the Destroyer has zone AE of 1k the begins immediatly after him being targetable.
We setup with 3 tanks, each tank pulls a goblin and we beat it down to 5% then the tank kites him off and repeat until 3rd goblin is at 20%. All 3 gobbies die at same time and emoush is pulled about halfway and charged and pushed away from his home spot incase your dps is lacking, repeat if necessary
If anyone is looking to lead this event, a couple of notes you might want to know: 1. A maximum of 4 groups can be in the shared task and zone into the instance. 2. Your average raid level must be at least 68. 3. You must have someone with at least the tier two solo tasks done to request the event.
Stats: I parsed my fight log using Yalp 2.4, filters showed my DoT and spell damage, others spell damage, and all melee damage (others DoT damage is not included in damage dealt). * Emoush has at least 277,151 HP, probably higher than that. * Hits for anywhere from 56 to 1128, with the vast majority of hits being for 322. * 50% of my spells (all magic based) were resisted: about 1/3rd of the damage dealt was magic damage so melee DPS seems to be preferable for this raid. (Slow never landed.) * Emoush doesn't enrage, he does flurry.
Our first mystic respawned three minutes after we killed it. I think Emoush was at 4% when the mystics respawned. 2.5 minutes later when we had killed the three mystics again, Emoush was at 13% so he appears to have a regen rate of about 1% every two ticks when he's invulnerable (I can't be sure because he may have been DoT'ed).
I didn't get info for all the mystics, but Mystik Griknok had a hit range of 184-1011, with the vast majority being for 245 and has at least 63,199 HP. I assume all the Mystics are similar in stats.
Ok, I've only done this once so far, we got him to 11% and then when shammies repoped, one of our tanks went LD and the shammie he was assigned to killed off the healers. (we'll try again soon =)
But as a 67 necro, I was only able to land lifetaps. I heard others say that they got dots on with no problems (an SK in our raid for instance). Is this one of those mobs where you get resisted unless you are within melee range? I find it interesting that all of my dots were resisted. I went through 3k mana in dots before I finally just did taps -- all dots were resisted.
We killed him last night on Quelleous and here is a little strategy info.
When you finally clear your way into his chamber -there are 3 named mobs surrounding him - Mystic Braggle, Mystic Griknok, and Mystic Shiflor.
It's pretty simple - you cannot damage Emoush while the 3 mystics are alive. Therefore you take 3 of your groups and assign them each to a mystic. Try to kill them all at roughly the same time because they respawn rather quickly and you want to maximize the amount of time to beat down emoush. Once the 3rd Mystic dies - everyone go butt crazy on emoush and kill him. If you aren't fast enough - the fallen mystics rise again and you have to beat them down once more. Rinse and repeat till Emoush dies.
As long as each group has a healer and you have competant slowers - you should be fine. As an enchanter, I found Emoush very magic resistant so I had a summoned pet with speed and I also meleed Emoush.
I can confirm this. It helped a serious amount. Stack on the dots with the shamans, druids, and necros before he goes untargettable and do about 5% extra damage afterwards.
24 person raid. every group had a healer and some druids. we didnt kill him fast enough so the mystics repopped. we battle rezzed, kill the mystics again and kill emoush. dropped the wrist item and the quest necessaries. average raid level was 68. the raid was not time geared however most were at their caster mana max. dont panic, stick with it, dont let your ma die.
Tried it with 15 lvl 70s and our dps (EP & KT+ geared) wasn't enough. We may have done a bit better if we had a couple more clerics to keep people up.
I'd be surprised if he was one groupable just from a "time to burn him down" factor. With the right mix 2 groups would be doable. We were caster heavy and most of the nukes were being resisted or only landing partially.
You know you don't have to kill him in one round right? Once he locks himself just do the 3 little fellers again then get back to work on him, I assume you could go on all day like this... using just shy of 2 groups we've never needed more than 2 rounds to kill him so I can't say for certian (typically have him down to 30-40% after the first round).
I suppose the trick to 1 grouping this would be having 1 tank handle all 3 mobs... we've put 2 of them on me (paly self and druid healed) and ranja for the 3rd (cleric healed) just to be safe, but I suppose I could do all 3 with a solid cleric holding my lifestrings.
You may not have to kill him in one round, but be arned. Every time he goes untargettable, he does heal himself a bit, but also however increases his power. We went about 6 times total (1 time was just to med completely). He increased his HP to where we couldn't even knock him down 10%, and started hitting over 2k. Every time you let him go untargettable, his HP and attacks increase, so if you don't kill in 3-4 rounds, you are gonna start having some major issues with him.

Can Emoush be mezzed? If so does he regen like normal?
Seems like he could be single groupable.... Just need 2 clerics and lotsa undead nukers... Gather the shammys at 10% or less and AE.... Then undead nuke the hell outta Emoush... I could be wrong, but its what id do....
