Has a nasty DoT that they like to chain cast on you. Feranic Grasp I believe it's called. I camp these guys whenever I dont have anything to do. 70 ranger, archery AAs and so-so gear. Harmony and Tranquility of the Glade work well on these guys (have 160 CHA). AA Snare is rarely resisted. Same with Earthen Roots. No real magic resistance to speak of. Goes down fairly quick with a Stonewood. No surprises.

He dropped an Emerald, Discordant Scoriae, and severed feran tentacle for me.

also drops Feran Blood (used in making Feran Hide armor). tho the blood is a rare drop.
