downed by 49 EP geered peoeple droped runemark and orb +2 glowing runes his ae seems to me a random percent that it lowers ur max. he hits for 3k and lower a 10k4 tank withstood his hits so he isnt to good on dmg we tanked him in this little corner on the west side of ramp, which worked very well his ae does like 230 dmg, not 500
At least our Shamen claimed him to be slowable. :) Some additional info: He rampages and flurries but sparsely, quads up to 3k so an unlucky rampage is probably to much for anything else but a tank. And even they will have a hard time due to his ae. Memblurs itself often during the fight - a "Hulcror roars maniacally" announces this.
I believe the AE is bugged though. We didn't bother to cure it until after the fight as it will be instantly recast. So you'll have to deal with the HP adjust part of this dot only. But that's ok. The splurt part is what could get you into trouble but since he casts it permanently it will always do the initial splurt damage. And this isn't even noticable with buffs and bard songs going.
Dropped collar, orb and 2 glowing runes. Hits for 3K seem to ignore all mitigate and other AA. Has a nasty proc that lowers your hp with a certain %, seem to be around 40% or somthing, which makes this fight really hard. Also memblur it seems. Almost mostly a zerg-fight if tanks starts to fall. Have aprox 1.4 mil HP according to a parse.
It seems to be a 20% decrease in HP to me, but I wasn't the tank. This guys is a very fun fight, he's tough. We took him out with a raid of about 50 people in mostly elemental/Time gear, and it was close. He seems to always drop 2 Glowing Muramite Runes, and his other loot is very good too. I'd say he's about as tough as Innoruuk or Rallos Zek (the ones in Phase 5 of Time).
Confirmed, 2 casts of Pure Blood cured it for me, but the only issue is that almost as soon as you cure it he casts it again...
I tried Radiant Cure 1 (from the looks of it, even Radiant Cure 3 would take more than one person casting) to no avail as well as Counteract Disease and Remove Greater Curse (tried RGC only because the icon looks like a curse and I had not read up on Hulcror to see it was disease). I did not try more than 3 casts of each, and gave up since PB worked.
Not sure what else Shamans or whatnot may have that is stronger, but I know Clerics also get PB. GL, he is a fun fight
Its a splurt DoT and the info says it has a 1 minute recast but he actually recasts it about every 20 seconds when engaged and every 1 minute when he's not engaged.
Someone accidentally aggroed him early hitting us with the DoT. He kept recasting it every minute until everyone that was hit with it died, zoned or camped.
Then he was recasting it only every minute so it was pretty strong by the time he'd recast. Much stronger than while he was engaged since he kept overwriting it and resetting the timer much more often.
DEAD ON TORV......Sept 19!!!! Took bout 60 peeps.... all 65+ Dropped Hulcror hide cloak 25ac +15dex +20cha wis int sta +180hp +190mana Regen +3 DoT shield +5%
also dropped lvl 70 spell runes
Hits for MAX 2980 Has AE 500dmg and 500dmg a tick LOTS of hp
Got hit with this guys AE at the zonein today. The dot lasts 10 minutes and hits pretty hard. It must also have a fairly big range as no-one nearby could see the mob.
RC3 didnt clear it. Pure Blood didnt clear it (5 casts). Remove greater curse didnt clear it (5 casts).
Purify soul (Cleric aa ability) did remove it. Crusader's Touch (Pally Bp) did cure it.
Most people at the zonein died quickly, lucky for us a kind Pally with his lovely clicky bp was nearby. /bow
