Curious about him dropping the hide aswell. I have been camping all three named that supposedly drop it for Shaman epic 1.5 for the last couple hours. Both named in DS dropped it on my one and only kills of them, waiting on third atm, having killed each of them only once. This mob on the other hand I have killed 3 times and no hide. Cloak 2x and aug once. Can anyone else confirm this drop? Is it on his loot table because of this one post? No other posting ever mentions the hide dropping.
It possible that he drops this but I've killed him 5 times today and not got it so if he does it's quite rare, whereas the two ukun that drop this in DS tend to drop it almost every time.
Easily duoed this mob with lvl68 Ranger and 55 shaman bot, nothing but our own buffs (well, my Shaman had C3 but the Slumberer dispelled mine /rude) so I was at about 6600 HPs with quite a few Defensive AAs.
Notes:
He doesnt cast anything (not even Ukun Chains that I saw), nor does he Enrage. In fact he flees at about 10% if the tank has good health.
He's partially slowable with Turgur's.
Was red to the shaman but was able to land MaloX and then Turgurs without TOO much difficulty.
Best hit seemed to be ~350 on me.
My strat is to camp in one of the cubbies in the corner of the Courtyard wall and wait for him to path to me. I keep the noc on the hill closest dead, or if he's not dead when the Named comes along i Harmony him (the noc) for the pull.
Annul Magic (Ikkavs buff the mobs around them), Snare, Root at the mouth of the cubby. This gives me time to get Shaman debuff/slow on him. Start bowing him down till he summons, then nuke to break root, pull him into the cubby and beat him down, with shaman's dog helping out a little on DPS, and maybe an EBolt or 2 plus Chloros from the shaman.
Bugger dropped the silly cloak both times, for which our Tribute masters thank him in advance.
I like Bloodfields with my Duo; it's always empty, theres a shot at lot I'd use (augs) and lots of stuff for my shammy, plus every kill except golems seems to be +Dranik Loyalists.
Solo'ed this guy only self buffed for one day straight (27 hours). It dropped scoriae only twice =\ 20 minute timer (at best), plus time I was AFK, makes the scoriae drop rate only 1 in 20 kills. Not a very good ratio for farming the stuff.
Slight update to that, he spawned 8 times in a row, all 8 times he dropped the cloak, It was not till the 9th I got the augment. The 15th kill I got a scoriae, along with the 19th. After that, tiredness broke through and I lost track of count. If scoriae is as rare as people say... judging from this mob it should be classified as uncommon at worst. He is most easily soloable for a mage with 66 pet, probaly 65 pet too. Tho I never used it but once. Overall, easy mob, work for scoriae if that is what your after.
My wife, a 66 dr00d and I , a 66 shaman, camp this loc a lot for fun. we kill this beastie a lot at the tower as you come out of the courtyard. He is DB to us, slowable, snareable and dies very tamely for us. Droped the bloodied cape every time but a few ...was just Plat then...never seen anything else on him :( Does summon a bit, never enough damage to worry about though, and i never had to sic the pet(s) on it.
Does this mob still spawn? A group of three killed for three hours and no DU in sight... Found two areas where the Ukin Slaughterhound roams and still no spawn of the DU.... Can anyone help here as to the correct area that I should be looking for this mob?
Just killed him, dropped cape - wandered a path from ds tunnel to bridge. Went down pretty easy, pet died while trying to get things arranged, took him down with 2 casts each of Bane of Nife and Blood of Saryrn, and meleeing with spear of fate with spirit of leopard on. Had a cleric for healing, just kept Supernal elixir on and did a couple quick heals. Max hit 400ish on 1200 ac, 69 shaman.
Solo'd him today after a failed Signet camp in sewers. I loaded my slow, snare, and charm. I had most of my other group songs on which included DS and Regen. What i did was slow him and just have a pet attack, once pet gets low i go in so he hits me DS, which was about 136 at the time. After pet died i charmed another. He summoned me lots but i have all the Defense/Evasive AAs maxed, so not much dmg. In the end he went through 3 pets, 4th one and I killed him. Max hit he did to me was 424 but most of his hits were in low 100s. Hope this post helps~
His PH is the ukun Slaughterhound It is the ONLY ukun with that name. It spawns on a 20 minute timer. At level 70 he is the ONLY dark blue con ukun in that area of the zone. It summons, hits for 300's max on a 70 war with good gear.
Camp: Outside the courtyard wall at the DS zone in, on either side of the valley, there is a small hill with a tower on it. If you camp up there there will be no adds unless you pull them.
There are roughly 6 mobs that wander a large circular path around from the DS end of the valley around the walls and out to the middle of the zone. He is on that same path.
He roams near the zone in from DS just past the archway when you leave the castle. Place Holder is a Ukun Slautherhound that roams around the same area. Not sure of where he paths but we waited just outside the archway to the right, killed trash while we waited for PH. First attempt at this guy failed. Only had 67 warrior and 67 cleric and cleric went OOM rooting adds and healing. Was able to slow it with my ToD but we didnt have enough DPS. Killed two more PH's and then he came wandering by again. Was easy kill when we added a 68 SK. Dropped the aug which i promptly placed on my BoC. That should hold me till I get my Anger III.
This named is a wanderer, so picking out which wandering ukun may or may not be a ph is kinda difficult.
Go to the first wide open valley area (same valley in which the Ikaav Slumberer spawns and roams) in the zone and kill all wandering ukuns and you will get it to spawn eventually.
Not particularly difficult. Sub-group of mid-60 alts had no real problem with him and an add. Dropped the Bloodstone of Agony for us twice. Might have got the cape from him too, not sure. Sure as heck didn't see that bracer!
The BoA includes a stun proc making it an excellent augment for any toon that wants some aggro that hasn't yet been through LDoN.
Just killed him 2 times in a row he spawns right outside the DS zoneline in the "courtyard" ... the first time he only dropped the Bloodied Cape. Apx. 20 minutes later (about) he spawned again and dropped

Earlier I was trying to camp for this item to drop off of the Ikaav Slumberer.
This mob The Domineering Ukun was a very easy duo for a 66 druid and 66 ranger (with Earthcaller) though we were having trouble trying the Ikkav Slumberer camp due to adds.
I feel really lucky to have gotten the bracer. Good luck everyone!
Edit: Oh yes, also, on the 2nd kill where I got the bracer ... I also got the Bloodied Cape to drop again.
Saw what I think was a 70 Druid solo him. Got him summoned about 7 times or more by the time I got there to watch and took more than a few % from the Dr00d when he hit.
Not sure if it was casting or not. I think he was trying to get the Bracers to drop, so when the Bloodstone dropped the BL in our group that won the roll for it (Druid was going to let it rot) was happy as pie.
This mob is not 65. He was blue to me at 65. We had an add or 2 while we were killing him. He dropped fairly easily with a group of 65-66 toons (2 mages, wizard, ranger, druid, paladin)
