I was looking for this item for quite sometime and this was the first hard BB adv of the night. We almost didn't make it to this named but it DID drop the Vampiric Coif of the Grave. i am now a VERY happy, no-graphic head gear wearing ranger.

This is what dropped when we killed him. Looks like it is a common drop from him.

a bitten victim are npcs in that zone that you can use as pets. However once we got 3 spiders out of it. But im not sure. Other zones have other npcs like this too.
