killed him today ....checked to see if he had any merchandise but was empty ....didnt mess up quest
When my old guild and I spawned this guy Sept of 04, a message came on once he spawned and i targetted him.
The message was "right click on the merchant to begin a transaction", the same message you get when targetting any merchant/vendor in any other zone..
Wish i had checked his merchandise, but I didn't want to ***** up the quest, very well may end up doing this again, just so i can check his goods :)
note: I woudn't recommend trying to check his merchandise unless you are re-doing the quest, in case something goes wrong, but by all means when he spawns, target him and see the message (if it hasn't been changed yet) for yourself :)

Conned even to a lvl 52 druid in the group. Group was 65 monk, 54 warrior, 53 enchanter and 52 druid. Was a very easy fight and all shades went down fast.
