Its 72 when Fennin Ro dies you hail Essence of Fire and you get a globe of dancing flame. Essence of Fire despawns when he gives out 72 or in a certain amount of time(I forget the time hes up for).
Has anyone noticed an increase in DPS from FRo once he reaches about 20% health? My guild had attempted him 3 times and every time the MA goes down not long after Fennin hits 20% life. I have been on several Fennin kills in previous guilds, and I have never noticed anything unusual before, but I cannot explain why the MA is falling at this particular time in the fight.
In my opinion i think that fennin ro isnt as hard a Xegony. I heard people arguing about fennin being the harder one but chances are they havent faught both of them. I think Xegony gave us a harder fight. Well her and all her spawn minions.
General Warning concerning something I saw this evening. Groups at other camps need to be warned when Fennin is engaged by the raid. The reason is that the zone lags out except near the area where the fight is taking place. Any fighting elsewhere in the zone is probably going to result in deaths by lagging.
Only takes a second and could save lives. Your fellow adventurers will thank you later.

My guild has killed him at least 15 times by now and not one damn silk pattern has come from him. Been saving up my points to get those pants for so long I'm gonna have enough to buy out a few raid's worth of drops after I get them. :p...

By the way this fight freakin blow now with the new graphics engine, arrows knockin him outta range, into the wall, etc. Good Luck, that's all i gotta say.
this fight is all about placing, my guild has fought him twice so far and wiped both times at 58% due to the placing, the first time he was pulled too close to clerics and the CCH got screwed up cause of his AE, the second time the rangers were placed wrong and pushed him away where he summoned the MT out of range of the clerics. get the placing right and he will die, he doesnt have that many hps but hes pretty mean if you dont set it up right.
Good post. My guild just wiped twice because we kept pushing the mob and he summoned MA out of range of clerics. And althouth Im sure its possible, MA switches on a mob that hits like fennin hits is something you want to avoid if possible.
Got to keep this guy in place and he isn't too bad. Extremely low HP for and elemental god, probably not much more then Sol Ro if its higher at all.
This is a completely ranged fight. Fennin Ro's damage shield will destroy you if you attack him. Be sure to have lots of magicians to summon arrows, as all melee will be using them.
Pin Fennin to the right of the arch and have clerics heal tank from the wall. Casters are the DPS for this fight, so keep them safe from AE.
Fennin is the easiest god of the Planar Gods. There is really no trick to him except good heals and DPS. Good luck with your raid!
This guy is a *****. Ranged him to 30%, paragon / SoWood rotation, run in and own em. Don't let MT die though or you'll lose cuz your clerics will get raped. Not really much of a strat mob as some might lead you to believe.
My guild got him last night for the first time. Tip (without giving up too much) We found that by having other classes cure rather than clerics worked best. Hotkeys help =)
Well if I were Solusek Id be like ok that is NOT my son can someone tell me WTF is with this why is his son a monster heh? Is that like what he transforms into cause if so he must look more like his mom Uglymonster Ro heh.
Lmao nice one. Our guild can't seem to take this guy, after reading some things here I think we are 2 short on casters perhaps?---we did get him to 0% 1 time but normaly we wipe at 20-50% anything that may help more that has not already been posted here would be great, thanks in advance
-------------------------------------------- ok pull after first complete heal rotation! go clerics ! 10 mins later...222 you dont go after 333.
dunno about hps, but Fennin is (as strange as it may be) immune to fire... Average MR PR DR (post debuffs, he has roughtly the resists of a pre resists Doomfire mob), don't know about CR since i'm a necro, but it should be fairly low
Well HPs are not that high, we usually drop him in about 5mn (keep in mind that melees do almost no dps on this fight since they'll usually be standing next to caster out of AE and will just use archery/throwing to do some dps)

Fennin Ro is the father of Solusek Ro, hence his being more powerful. Solusek is more like a demi god, whereas Fennin is one of the big guys like Inny, CT, RZ, et al.
Not to correct you Mr. Mateo, but it seems to me that if the four elemental planes are harder to get to and more difficult than the pohate, fear, etc., and since the elements have been around longer than such human concepts as "hate," "war," "valor," and so forth, then the elemental gods are on a level beyond most of the other gods. Anyway, enough of my philosophizing. I'VE POURED GASOLINE OVER MY BODY SO DON'T FLAME ME!!! O_O
Straight up from EQ lore: "The Plane of Sun is ruled by Solusek Ro, the Burning Prince. His father, Fennin Ro is the Tyrant of Fire who rules the greater elemental Plane of Fire, from which the Plane of Sun derives its power." While Fennin is harder because he is the boss of a fourth teir plane, that explanation is somewhat backwards. He rules the greater elemental plane of fire, therefore has more power than Solusek. Granted, this is semantics, but a bit more accurate.
What he was saying, Mr. Evertide, was that this god is a GOD...not a DEMI-God. He wasnt comparing how hard one God is to another. He was comparing the main gods to demi-gods.
Rallos Zek, Mithaniel Marr, Bertoxxulous, Agnar, Solusek Ro are all deities of similar strentgh, as they rule a plane of proportionate power, the plane of war, the plane of Valor, the plane of disease, the plane of storms, and the plane of sun respectively.
Comparable to these gods are also Cazic Thule, Innoruuk, and Tunare, the god and goddesses of Fear, Hate and Growth. There are others as well.
Lesser deities are simply deities who are either the offspring of one of these previous gods, such as Vallon and Tallon Zek are the sons of Rallos Zek or who have come to control a demi-plane, such as Saryn who rules the demi plane of Torment.
Greater than all of these are the rulers of the Elemental Planes, from whose combined essence gave existence to all other realms, such as planes of the previous deities, and the mortal realms such as Norrath. These gods are Fennin Ro, ruler of fire, The Triumvirate of Water, ruler of water, Xegony, ruler of air, and The Rathe Council rulers of earth.
There is legend but little proof that even the elemental gods are not supreme, that even they are subordinate to another, that contains all their individual essences but is bound by none of them. This being is unknown and is called by mortals the Nameless.
Other gods such as Veeshan, ruler of dragonkind, also must fall into the category somewhere, but I'm not certain where the legends would place her. Certainly on a level at least even with Rallos Zek, Solusek Ro and Mithaniel Marr, but not likely as strong as the Elemental gods. This I'm not certain of however.
pretty good over all, however Agnarr is not a god, he is a storm giant lord(or something to that extent) it is Karana who ya meant (Karana is the storm lord)
Actually, Prexus is the Lord of the Sea. Not necessarily in control of water.
The Triumverant of Water consists of Tarew Marr, E'ci and Povar. You are correct in the ruleings of each. Each name (And almost all other gods) are an anagram. Tarew Marr = Water Marr. E'ci = Ice. Povar = Vapor.
Corinav was summoned by the power of all Three of the Triumverate in an attempt to Protect their plane from the ignorance and destruction of mortals.
Quote from "Atlas: The Maps of Myrist"
Quote:
In a timeless past, the Triumverate of Watermet to discuss how to enhance the influence on the domain of water. During this meeting, the greater elemental gods agreed upon the creation of an avatar that would embody the three of them in unity. The creation of a pure, untainted being to represent them equally proved to be an ardous task. A great and demanding ritual was required - one that would be able to leech a part of each of their essences and combine them into the mind, body and soul of an avatar.
To begin the ritual they used an onzolan crystal, through which they each poured a small portion of their respective essences. Povar was first to give his essence, infusing the crystal with the power of vapor - the light, delicate and near intangible state of the pure element. E'ci, the Wintry Guardian, contributed the essence of ice - the absolute, solidified state of the pure element. Tarew Marr, the leader of the Triumverate and Fathom lord, waas the last contributor, infusing the crystal with the essence of water - the most abundant state of the true element. With that part of the ritual completed in unison, each let loose an awesome display of their divine powers. Through the combined might of these dieties, the Avatar of Water named Coirnav was forged.
Coirnav came into existence as a small marine creature and was at first very weak. The Triumvirate constructed a special water domain where Coirnav could grow and one day rule. In time, Coirnav developed special powers based on the three forms of water - vapor, ice, and liquid - that was his birthright. More time passed and Coirnav grew to his full form, yet still he laid dormant within his domain, waiting for the time that he would be called upon to fully embody the three.
