This no longer drops in the Mines of Nurga. Have been AA'ing there with my BST for over 2 months and never seen it. There is only 3 Burynai that spawn here now. 2 are slaves and have been freed on mos server and the other is Traitor someone, rare spawn.

I got one today but in Nurga, but it only had 5 charges.
Nearly nothing can be recharged though normal means. As in, there is no spell to cast, quest to run or combine to make that will recharge it.
There is a trick that may recharge things that requires having two of them, and selling them to a merchant and buying them back. Might have been fixed thoug.

Can this item be recharged? If yes then how?
effect means you can do it a lot, it never wears out. Charges means it does, it'll have like (5) charges if its charged. those items can be recharged. This one never has to be. Quite a nice skin buff for free.

Where did you ever get the idea that this thing never needs recharging? 5 charges means after 5 casts it runs out. I don't know about the recharge though.
I used this item on my noob warrior in combination with some boots that cast turtle skin. Used the belt whenever I couldn't find someone to buff me.
If it CAN be recharged, I'd sure like to know how. If I find out I'll post it here.

not all items can be recharged, and this item does have charges.

How does this thing trigger? Can it be recharged?
It's right-clicked. Don't think it can be recharged.

Got this item from a Burnyai Slave today, not that great but pretty good to get some lower level twinks up if it will click for them.
This is a really great item for the races and classes that can use it--especially the warriors and rogues. The good ac, and no weight are fabulous. Not to mention the 25 hp, and a triggerable effect. Skin like rock may not be that great, but it is free. These are often sold fairly cheap as the races are limited that can use it and are lore.
