Shadows of LuclinOne dropped when camping the mobs for the VT frame in near IV. It definately looks like a centi longsword and was sticking up out of the corpse after it had died. Dropped from one of the three mobs behind the spirit thingys.
Was a 7 min timer on the corpse and no one close to loot it so sadly it rooted as I was the only hybrid there and had a better weapon. Was a nice suprise though, we got lots of other droppable loots but I missed on my frame though two others got theirs.

Atulinae`Vius dropped this for me today. And sure enough it was sticking out of the corpse, pointing straight up to the ceiling. I have never seen anything like this before. The sword it self looked pretty cool. and not bad for Luclin era for stats.

I loot this weapond a few days ago from a Named Centi, in Akheva near the Worms camp.
I tough he just holding a normal centi long sword coz the look is so similar ( but no exactly the same ). And a friend of mine make the joke of "u Muerte ( mi Sk ), come and loot this centi, is lore i alrdy got mine." hehe nice surprise when i see all this stats ehehehe.

Can anyone post what mob actually drops this sword? What lvl is the mob, where is the mob, how many people it takes to kill it, ect.. I been hunting in Akheva for the past few weeks and only drops we've been getting were Centi ss, Warhammers, and warspears. We got a shaded blade of one of the protectors as a rare. And thats about it. Not even a Centi LS dropped.

All of the convesation above is interesting, but does anybody know the mob that drops this? and where to find it in akheva?
It all comes down to a matter of taste. I prefer a 2hs wep. Won't debate the issue as it is a non-issue to me. I have my 1hs and dual wield up in the high 100's and still prefer to use the 2hs for the damage output. Sometimes it isn't consistent, will hit 8 with a BABS, but then when I hit 77 and 81 in a row and then 51 and 51, and then 51 and 87 with a few misses, the consistency factor for me goes to the 2 hander.
I do keep up my 1hs and dual wield, ain't no point in letting those skills go to waste, and there are times when it's fun to go ripping into something and see both hands workin. But, and this is only IMHO, the 2hs BABS or Nathsar Great sword, are the weapons of choice in close melee.

You need better weapons askand! A str of grodan is a common no drop item in ME that's 41/51. It's very nice. I'll tear up anyone using a nathsar or Babs. And don't even make me get out my 1hs, I do more damage with it, and the shield.

This will be a great weapon for a secondary tank who doesnt want the agro, or against mobs with Damage shields.
Gonna have one hell of a damage bonus too.

Can you imagine this thing with a haste item, and chanter and bard haste. Insane damage!

Dwarves makes pretty good warriors and they don't have the innate ability to bash. But they are strong, sturdy and they can see in the dark. They also look cool when they sommersault jump.
The reason 2h style isn't very good for warriors is simply because you have a larger damage output when using two weapons (dual wield).
2h style can be effective if the warrior isn't supposed to taunt though.

Actually you're incorrect the dwarf jump isn't a barrel roll. A barrel roll is around the 'roll' axis (of a plane anyways) while a summersault or front flip is around the 'pitch' axis (again of a plane). So a dwarf running jump is actually a front flip or jumping summersault. A barrel roll is closer to a cartwheel (gymnastics) where the person is always facing the same direction.
Check this link out for a little graphic example of a barrel roll. Note the front of the plane is always heading in the same direction whereas the dwarf faces 360 degrees in the course of his/her running jump.

That's not true. The most damaging weapons in the Game for Warriors, Monks, and I'm sure for the other melee classes that can use 2 handed weapons, are in fact 2 HANDED! :)
2HS is very good. In fact I rarely use my 1HS epics anymore. I almost always use the 2HS.

yeah...or they could keep putting weapons with better ratios in than the epics.... (inny's curse comes to mind)
I agree, verant keeps making weapons that are totally better than epics. Epics were introduced in the kunark expansion pack. Since veliuos and luclin came out, epics are now only for looks. And I'd say just about 90% of people who play eq care more about the looks of thier chars and weapons than what they actually do. Speaking of looks, what does this sword look like? hehe :)

Looks just like a Centi long sword
The color of the Hilt is different than the centi longsword, Item is a Uber rare drop off Transient xin like maybe once every couple months
its 42/45 with stats and the transient emmisary drops the other that looks just like it but is 39 45 with stats Both weapons are extremly rare, so i wouldnt plan on going there and camping them unless you have a couple months to spare.
