100+ kills whiel getign Scepters for guild- not a single drop of this item. I seen about 3 daggers, 5 swords, 2 staves. No range item

First I have ever heard of this mob, killed in Akheva alot. I didnt know there were any additions to Akheva, which is why this mob is a surprise to me I guess.

It drops of an emmisary in Akheva Ruins... I am a shaman and it replaced my Slime Coated Harpoon... very nice item

As a level 51 Paladin I still have a bow in my ranged slot. I would love this!! I wouldn't mind the fact that it has no AC since my bow doesn't either. I rarely use my bow so this would be an amazing range slot replacement.

well, it mainly doesn't have any ac - but other than that yes, shaman would benefit greatly from this. Not as if it wasn't already apparent. It would be my opinion shaman rely on ac more than clr/dru's due to slow aggro.

Considering there aren't that many ac items for range slot being able to toss this in there would free up slots where one can upgrade their AC more by dropping other wis items, + the more resists the better. Most shamans are still using a spear of some sorts in their range.
