heh, this item looks good for my wood elf bard, not for general use, but for improving his tradeskills I need INT as high as I can get it, this is a nice chest piece for a tradeskiller if you ask me as it's all / all and has +10 INT +5 WIS so whichever you're maxxing out it's pretty good

actually on my DE Necro it looks like a cool a$$ look lol. I love it and has better stats to boot thena froggy robe. This thing rocks! i love it!

looks like a regular leather tunic with a rusty colored stain, very nice from the ordinary brown.

you know it amazes me that nobody can see past the stats to see who drops this gear. ok peeps listen (or read ) very carefully ill try not to lose anyone....go to the top of the page where it lists the stats to this gear....now look on your screen to the right of all the stats....look close....ya see it...looky looky there....by god its a name of a mob....GORELAZ VERILAK....and whats that...by his name it says this item is found on creatures...now i may be a bit slow witted sometimes...but even i can see WHO DROPS THIS

It's entirely possible that someone asked who drops it well before the page was updated with all the info.

/agree with Shoendesae - especially since for some reason the pictures on Allahs wont load on my system for the last month - nor any of the information on the mobs ... Thanks to whoever asked where this can be found and off of what mob !

I was in TM just the other night and my guild and a couple of others, we where working our way through the castle. The robe dropped off the Emissary (on the 2nd floor I believe). Watch out though and plan to have a few good healers with you cause he life taps hard and very fast. We took him down but had to evac shortly after cause of the adds and spawns. This robe is by all means worth 5k in my opinion.

For those that were wondering I got this to drop off of the Emissary in the castle
This is Not junk and jsut because your ofver 45 dosent mean u have better, Especialy fro druids, I have a 52 wood elf druid and still have a formans tunic(3wis) I would love to have this until i get some on my plane armor (Holding out for Hate druid armor Very rare drop)

Could it be that Gorelaz Verilak has this item, since he drops so many other of the Blood Weave ... Items?
All of the named flying vamps drop bloodweave as a semi-common drop. They commonly drop high level gems like Jacinths, Diamonds, and Blue diamonds, as well as cash loots like Ruby crowns, and star ruby earrings.
They each seem to have their own rare drops, which are really nice items. I got a 8ac, +8 INT/AGI, +80 mana cloak a few weeks ago. Still waiting for the tunic to drop though.

You need a group, the winged vamps are 100% MR (not fire or cold, though) and hit pretty hard.
These are not even close to 100MR, youve got to be kidding me. I'm able to land 90% of my nukes (Expulse Undead, wich is Resist: Magic +15) for full damage after tash is applied (wich stuck every time on the 10 or so named we killed). Also these things are very red to me, as I am only 43, and I still don't have a problem chain nuking.
PS our group was kinda funny... 3 necros (51,52,and me 43), 51 cler, 51 sham, 45 chanter, 50 something wizzy, and maby one other. Our MA was the necro pet lol. Later a mid 40's bard joined us, using the johanius stake (16/21 against vapms). The easier named vamps in that tower werent very hard. We killed the wizzy on the second floor once, but got wiped out by adds in the process due to some bad timing and sloppy assisting. Alsmot killed him a second time (this time we pulled him outside of the tower), but he gated before necro could fear.
Very good tactic for us, as we had no tanks to bash, or pallys to chain stun etc, is to wait till their are low life, hopefully before they start to cast gate, and fear them. Why wait till low life? Becausee you cant snare the winged ones. Also be carefull when your pulling, and look out for the pack of dogs that wonders by. These are vamps too, in wolf form, and yes expulse undead works on them too.

These are NOT 100%MR. They can be slowed, tashed, etc.
but they can't be snared or rooted... even gives you a message like the bats that says, "This creature cannot be affected by spells that affect it's run speed"... or something very very similar.

i can't tell if they might be snared but rooted it is SURE :)
as a Paly i rooted and nuked them tons of times
no immune or 100% RM and rootable
only 2 little Pb with those mob :
they proc a 200hp lifetap ( never managed to resist it :p )
they repop quite fast so pretty unsoloable
oups 3 : Pathing at the castle entrance is a nightmare :)

The named mobs, i.e. fliers, are immune to both snare and root. You can snare and root the standard mobs, not the named here.

its a rusty red type color and looks like the WE shirts...has a design on it too if i remember correctly

Hmmm should I get hold of one of these for my shaman or stick with my bloodstained tunic? 5,000pp Is expensive, but affordable, but the BStunic is 13 ac 4 wis 4 agi, and only costs arround 200pp.....One other thing I play my shaman as an almost pure caster, with very little combatt.. usually just buffing and debuffing, so wis is the only really good stat for me. If anyone could surgest anything better than the bloodstained which is reasonably priced could they inform me please?

It amazes me that some people can't understand that Allakhazam is constantly undating information on these pages and that maybe, just maybe, a couple of weeks after Luclin went live, the Drop information for this item was not on the page yet.

AMAZING... FOr caster's GREAT for melee, kind sucky, but even for a level 45 cast 10+ INT is great, with a full set of this my INT would be high as ever, Being a NON-TWINK, but very lucky mage i have 180 INT atm at level 5, HEHE!
anyway, i'm twinking my next cast with this, its great for anyone, all around for level 20-40 on my server, =) just sucks that you cannot get it at a lower level

/sigh...I hate when people complain about the stats and assume by this level that others would have something better. As a non-twink, I don't have something better and think it has nice stats! But I suppose, thats just mho. =)

I've been hunting the vamps in the smaller camps and have never seen blood weave drop there. I'm guessing that it drops in the castle from the winged vamps?

Just cause YOU may of gottten a better tunic at 45+ doesnt mean everyone would. I am a 53rd Cleric and im still wearing a Crystal Covered Shroud... You can buy this tunic on my server for 50pp. Not everyone of us is rich just because we are 45+. I spend every plat i get on Peridots.

It is a good tunic with 10 int and 5 wis its good.
50PP?!? You're kidding, right? +10 INT is absolutely awesome, that sort of stat used only to be available on robes from things like Cazic Thule himself. My Erudite Enchantress would LOVE to replace her Shardtooth's Flayed Skin and/or Crystalline Robe with this.

I figure that with the AC and the stats, that this will end up being twinking gear, or a nice replacement for a lower end robe on a caster, but most 45+ casters have better protection and stats by that point. I know that most melees have better AC and stats by that point.

I would use this. It would be more beneficial under specific circumstances, like a Trak raid, but for everyday use, I'd still wear it. As a 51 druid, Im still wearing a Shroud of Nature which only has one more point of WIS than this. Its hard to find a good BP for druids out there between lvl 35 or so and 55. And believe it or not, not every druid is rich (but shouldnt they be?). So unless you have a stockpile of plat to spend on something like a Nathsar or Elder Spiritis BP, if you can even find one for sale, then something like this is a nice alternative. But then again, people will probably still try and exploit the fact that this is a new item, not to mention if this is a rare item too.
