Shadows of LuclinHe spawns in the camp to the left in from TS. For me he has spawned inside the camp on two different places. So I think maybe the best thing to do is to just clean the whole camp and take it from there. Havent gotten my gloves yet, but I ll be back in, IF YOU ARE NOT CAMPING IT THEN, lol...

I been killing smurfs forever and still no pop, any ideas on how to spawn him? (Thinks to himself on how to cause a server crash)
I killed "a vas ren archon" a couple days ago and was surprised to get these nice gloves. I've killed the archon several times and only gotten the Elusive Pantaloons. This archon was a wanderer (not at one of the tent). But they all wander in the same general area. I just track and kill. The vas ren are the lowest MoBs in the zone and easy kills if you're hunting there already. These gloves must be really rare, as I've only seen the 8k price here (can't be worth that much)
7 wis makes them good.....and the 25 mana, that equals "ALMOST" 5 wis at lvl 40...so it almost equals gloves with 12 wis on them
Been camping the Archon now for over a week now, killed him probably about 30 or 40 times and haven't seen anything but

Was at the twilight zone in SD with a cleric and druid guildies. We are nearing the end of our grind group when the Archon popped. I didnt know what he was or what he dropped but I pulled him cos he was a unique name. 30s later .. gloves!! woot :) our cleric won em

The Vas Ren Archon spawns in archon village to the left as you zone into SD from Twilight Sea. He is a rare pop, with random PH's. You can kill the little blue aliens in wholesale slaughter for two days and not see him, then he will pop back to back off two random kills. He will pop in the tents near the zone wall in the back of the camp.
We have dropped him 9 times so far, and have never seen anything except leggings and mask. <:begins to wonder about post-release nerfs>

These are a pretty nice pair of gloves , especially when you are wearing split paw at my lvl. I want a pair =).

I hear ya! The only reason I am still not wearing my Spit Paw gloves is because a Kindly level 60 druid I was grouped with gave me some Nathsar Gloves, (He was ashamed to see a level 54 druid still using Split Paw Gloves :) )
Geez, I'm wearing splitpaw gloves. I'm level 52 so how should that make me feel that a level 51 Druid feels ashamed to still be wearin' em?
Maybe the other Druids won't laugh at me if I'm holding a Nature Walkers Schimitar in those Splitpaw gloves...

I can certainly empathize with you. I have had my damn SP gloves all the way from lvl 1-46. Just got some grey flesh gloves which was a welcome upgrade. Now about that Kunzar Cloak....

was wondering if these sound better wis wise then the shaman thurg armour? if so how rare are they and they sound like they can sell for $$ from what the post says because there lore but till the pic shows i guess they might be nodrop as well?
Since the wisdom cap was dropped, I don't believe you can have TOO much WIS. I solo alot as well as group, and raid so...MORE WISDOM=LARGER MANA POOL for any circumstance. Only downfall on these awesome gloves is the lack of any resists. Although, the resists can be made up elsewhere.

these gloves are very nice if you're still in need of lots of wisdom. The AC on the other hand is rather low. And at the level where you can get these AC becomes more and more important. On our last Kael rate the lead shm got summoned after each slow, usually once or twice a fight. So JB gloves or similar high AC pieces would be more adequate IMHO. You have to judge for yourself - do you find yourself more oom or more beaten on; I prefer 750 AC and 180 wis to 700 AC and 200.
I am begining to build up 3 diferent sets of armour:
noraml set- high ac, prefer this for soloing
wis set- use this on raids when i am expected to sit on me bot and behave(
resist gear- for dragons aoe mobs
As an ogre shamn i have meleed all my life, i never tried to melee a solo mob above 45- maybe i should just to find out if my Ac is up to much.

I can't speak for clerics, but us druids cant wear crap as far as AC goes, all we care about is wisdom and mana. I personally would much rather have 200wis than 750ac. I can't do any serious damage melee, even with a rocking weapon, so I might as well put my points where they'll do some good.
Shammys only melee better after they buff ;). Thats the only reason we seem to hit harder. At 45 my best shot is 30, and against mobs witrh hp in the k's, thats nothing. Now for the item. Nice ac and plenty of Wis, although the wis is important to me because I'm always OOM, and I manage my aggro well. But if you get smacked around alot go with higher ac.
Having seen that 25/50 staff (all/all) yesterday im thinking even casters are gonna be after a haste now as well. My 20 war does 60+ damage on a regular swing with a exec axe 25/50 - admittedly hes an ogre with over 180 str.

You run on half health thinking better of ever trying to melee again. Even with a little more AC i think im still gonna take a pasting and with the new 250 cap on wis and int Im hunting for better wis items again instead of items with slightly less wis but mroe ac/resists.

Gotta agree with you there. My warrior is at 1005 AC, and my druid couldn't survive 15 seconds of what he endures. So I'm thinking I'd rather load up on WIS for casting Root than worrying about a few AC. WIS and Resists are the way to go.
Not going to tackle the WIS shammy vs. AC shammy debate, but I will say this- I'd rather hear them say they're "50% mana" in group than "I'm 950 AC!". But that's my personal opinion, in all it's worthless glory ;)

One thing you always have to consider is how much is a few points of Wis worth? You have to be reasonable about it. If you are at like 232 Wis, (like I am now). Would it be worth it to lose say 10 points in other usable stats, (like agi/dex or ac), to gain like 2 more wis? Some stats, (like agi/dex/ac), are going to help you get that root spell off when a mob is on you. I most certainly agree you need to keep your Wis as high as practical with Shammy's, (and Druids), but you do need to sometimes sacrifice few wis points for other good stats. (All the mana in the world is useless if you can't get a spell off before you die).

But then again a live shammy is probably more useful than a dead one. I have seen lvl 50+ shaman go from full hpts to dead in 2 seconds due to bad AC and a summoning mob that did not like being slowed.
How much longer could he have hoped to survive even with better AC...
Granted I am only 40th and have not tackled any of the major mobs, but at my level a higher mana pool has been more beneficial to me in 90% of the cases than a higher AC. Solo or Grouped. One of the biggest heart skippers for most of my exceptional meatshields is the three letter message OOM. And even with my black fur boots, the thought of facing anything my level on a one to one basis without sufficient mana causes extreme anxiety.
I love being able to take a hit... but I can't see surviving toe-to-toe with anything worth any experience without my mana.
Just my 2cp worth.
