Gunthak Harpoon  

 

i just killed a Pirate in FV that was holding a Fine steel Rapier. No big deal, right? Well the thing is lore and Nodrop. same stats as a Normal FS rapier but identifies as a Gunthak Pirate Rapier. Anyone have a Clue what Quest this might be for? I can't seem to find anything on it. Thanks for any and all help. 8^)

Ok. This weapon is nice, but needs to be used creatively.

First off, its non-magic. This limits its use on a lot of things, Keep that in mind. Many targets can't be hit by non magic.

Next, The weight is a problem. This is surmountable. Equip it. Backstab, and switch it out while you try to evade because that backstab just realy ticked off whatever it was. Drop it in a weight bag that you keep open for that purpose. This works decently if you have the velious patch and you can keep the inventory screen up while fighting and still see.

Also: The delay kinda is slow. So if you decide to just wield it, at least you wont be tired out too fast.

Finaly: Who doesnt want to brag about hitting a monster BS. Pick some weenie mob and use this. That way when you are asked what your max BS was you can say something huge without BSing.
