This is a nice item, but should I use this or a haste belt on my lvl 31 ranger??? my haste belt = about 16%, but these are good stats...which one?

Er, let me be a bit more clear, I banked my smiter's girdle :).

DPS is king, especially if you're fear kiting. I used my fbss instead of the girlde and banked the girdle. Last night I won a Cowl of mortality which is much better haste than my fbss, so now I'll be pulling the smiter's girlde back out of the bank.

Yes, the dex buff may help you a bit, but remember that item haste does stack with quiver haste (if I recall correctly, I may be wrong).

Stick with the haste item until you can get a closk or other slot with better haste. If have access to one, take it and bank it.

I just picked up this belt earlier tonight, and was a good upgrade since my last was a blackend alloy. :p Honestly, I think this belt is worth more than an average of 878pp. If they "did" decrease the spawn rate, then this item will cost more due to it being more rare. I think it is worth around 1k+. you cant find a good belt for cheap, and i think someone made that price cause they wanted one and didn't want to pay for as much.

Twice in 5 hours off the Sunlord
# Apr 25 2002 at 1:57 PM Rating: Decent
Was up on the platau hunting exps with my cleric (50 at the time) with a single group. The reverents up there drops lots of neat twink stuffs. That day 2 of these belts droped. I won one as it was a upgrade to me at the time. The +3 to all stats is a great boost. I have since upgraded, but my warrior, and currently my shaman wear this belt. Well worth the money if you can't get one to drop.

Sunlord is easily pulled, seems easily agroed by medding casters (/sigh), hits pretty hard for his level. Excellent exp in low 50s. :)

I believe in the last patch the spawn rate was increased again as i have seen many more rare spawns. This item dropped for me off the Smiter, who spawns at the first platform near Twilight or the gallows looking thingy near the wall.Fairly consistent spawning if you keep these areas clear.

I camped that spot for a couple hours and never saw him pop. Are you sure it was the first revenent camp to the left of Twilight Sea zone?

I love this item. I just picked one up for my ranger for 550, I'll be getting one to twink my pal and shaman also. Very nice item for the price.

Scarlet Desert along with some of the other Luclin zones have had there spawn rates or rares reduced. This won't be as easy to get as it was.
did i do ok
# Jan 16 2002 at 4:04 AM Rating: Decent
I just bought this today for 1k. Was looking for a new belt (ie Thick banded) but to me, this seemed to appeal to my ranger more. Did I make out on this deal? What is the actual value of this item. Seems to me to be worth more than 1k b/c of the wide variety of stats. :-)

I don't know if this is worth 1k or not, but it seems to me that at most you slightly overpaid. Its not a real BIG hit in any of the stats, but the AC is pretty good, and the stats will add up. You have Sta, Dex, Str, and Agi, which will all be good for your melee aspect, and depending on your level, that Wis is 2 extra snares you can get off when LoM. Cha and Int aren't really anything big for a Ranger to gain, but it also can't hurt.

Be happy with the belt, it will have some novelty value for a while with Luclin so new, and it sounds like an ok purchase for your money. Judging from the Pricing data (admittedly not real reliable), you actually got a pretty great deal on it. Time will tell, but in the end, if its worth 1k to you, personally, to use it, then you made a good choice. :)

This belt drops off of several named in the far I have seen it drop off of at least 3 different ones; Sun Revenant Magistrate, Sun Revenant Chancellor, Sun Revenant Smiter. I have seen at least 6 of these drop in a week of exp killing in SD. So if you want one get a decent party of low-mid 50's in there for some good exp and good loot. These guys can spawn at any of the Sun Revenant points in the zone. So you don't have to be on the Plateau to get one, though the chances there seem to be better.
Sun revenant magistrate drops it
# Jan 06 2002 at 11:25 AM Rating: Decent
The sun revenant magistrate drops it, on the high ground, right after zoning in from twilight sea.

# Dec 25 2001 at 4:19 PM Rating: Decent
I just got one of these today. Anyone have ANY idea what it might be worth?

It dropped off a mob called something Chancellor. It was blue to 51, and was an easy kill for a 55lvl monk and a 51 lvl monk.

The semi rares in this zone are great. As with dawnshroud many of them drop twilight sea quest items and some drop good magic stuff.

This is a great tracker zone ;)

nice upgrade from the girdle of the dilegent

Hehe....we already got an upgrade to the Girlde of the was the Girdle of the Holy Wanderer....the belt any priest could get almost effortlessly at the Halloween events. I bought a Girdle of the Diligent one week before Halloween. Boy, am I the unluckiest sob ever to walk Norrath....and the guy who sold it must have ESP or something. 8(
RE: not bad
# Dec 28 2001 at 7:34 AM Rating: Default
Ok heres what I dont understand

Girdle of the Dilgent
+10 AC +5 Sta/Wis

Girdle of the Holy Wanderer (GM Event Item)
+6 AC +5 Sta/Wis SV Magic

This is hardly an upgrade. While I agree this is a good belt but I would much rather have my Girdle of Flayed Iksar
AC +6 +8 Sta/Wis +30 Mana
Now thats an upgrade to Girdle of the Diligent. I dont think anything to losing 4 ac for 5-3 more wisdom *depending on which item* and 30 mana. Just my 2cp.

#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 22 2002 at 12:15 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well you are a n00b cause the girdle of the holy wanderer was geared towards druids...hence the name "wanderer"....christ a belt of cenobite is better than the the girdle of dilligent or holy wanderer....jeeez stupid n00bs....
