wow my ranger would have like 1100 dps with this bad boy!!!
Rangers are a high dps for a melee with there atks an procs (More there procs) so this would be a good weapon for a ranger with the right AA's
na, maybe 600dps, rangers arent dps, they sac bots, and if this hammer ever went to a lame ranger itd be a major waste
na it would be around 1000 - 1100, i have a 46/22 and 33/22 offhand and average 780 DPS atm... my greatsword of mort with +5 poison aug in it is around 620 average DPS... aaaaand rangers ARE DPS fyi

was in a group lastnight with a bard and a shaman, couplr other classes too but none that adds buffs to my attacking, anyways, highest parse was in the 1300s and lowest was in the 850s. having a shaman and a bard in your group ROCKS!!!

Rangers are way to gay to be DPS, like i said, this weapon in the hands of a ranger would be a waste of dps when itd suit a monk or rogue more..rangers need to stick with thier fairy bows and heals......BTW did i mention rangers are hella ***?!?!?!?!?!

Lordbyter, you're a total ******, rangers are one of the highest DPS in the game. Fairy bows? You must be level 50 or so, which is sweet because a ranger would totally headshot your lame @ss to the ground. This weapon is a fine addition to any class that it's made for, stick to dreaming about this kind of gear instead of making fun of classes that would bury your loser behind 6 feet under norrath where it belongs, did i mention that Lordbyter is hella ****?!

what you said there makes no sense ranger boy, as an offhander, this weapon would generate more dps in the hands of a rogue anyday then a lame *** ranger, daggers are for mainhand, learn more about eq

You are such an idiot. I've seen Rangers manage to bust out 5K DPS, and I myself can get around 2.1K DPS when burning. You need to learn your ****.
Also, Rogues should stick with faster weapons for most DPS, stuff more around the 20-22 Delay.

Ok, my main is a ranger and I also have been not only using a parsing program for various raids and group encounters, but I have experience with seeing complete statistics - in real time as a fight is active - and have looked extensively in comparing how everyone in group/raid contributed to damage. This parsing program has made me understand a lot more and where to improve.
I have an 85 Ranger with 1242 aa's. Not nearly even half of what many Rangers have now today; however, this 600 or 1k BS you guys are suggesting is just an ignorant assumption unless you're parsing like I do, or you've disabled others' damage melee/non-melee filters and spent some time with a decent Ranger, it's all just senseless blabber and shortsighted of you.
Non-burn of any extra dps aa's or CA's like trueshot/aimshot line.. hell, without even using AoA or BoA at all in a battle, I'm consistent with an overall dps of 1400-1600 thru 100 second to 120 second battles, dont with no shm focus, only my own buffs. This I did for an hour on the same mob 20 times. Now, with no burn other than aimshot rk2 going for 1min of a battle, I usually start out casting barrage so in the first 20seconds or so I'm around 5k dps, this slowly decreases over battle to a total average of 2800 to 3200 dps over the course of battle. With a full burn, I've taken mobs in 30s which usually take 120s, total damage of 155k done and around 5k dps... This is normal for a medium-sized ranger.. imagine what the 4k+ aa Rangers could accomplish!

my lvl 75 wiz pumps out more dps than that without raid gear.
