these gloves were my first sk item i got at the event, but what do you mean they are purple? they look like leather on my erudite! I wish they looked like neon blue or something that would stand out as "Hey! wow! thats a GM event item!" but oh well... the stats are UBER and i love these gloves! I also got the cape, mask, and axe. The only thing i missed was the sk bracer, which i wanted, but it was very rare...also there were sk gaunts different from these, but i never saw them drop.
Over all, I was very pleased with all the nice loot i got! I was using a crappy drakkel forged before, but now i got my Harbinger!!!! now... if i could have only got that bracer...

necro and sks r the same thing mostly so y can't necro use this?

Eubiekahn, necros and sk's are not really the same thing at all. They both dabble in the same dark magic granted them by their god, but saying they are the same is like saying Clerics and Paladins are the same. A necro is a pure caster who is focused on the abilities of his mind to wield his magic as his main sorce of power. A sk is more like a warrior who uses a small amount of magic to aid him in battle. The sk's main attribute being his strength and fighting abilities. In general they will have very different armor as a sk's armor will be heavier, with higher ac, and stats such as str, and sta. A necro will have lighter armor (such as robes) with more int stats (in general).
The necros did get several items they could use. They were grouped with Mag, wiz, and ench. I believe there was a tomb, a couple rings, and they coveted Cloak of the Mind.
I got these gloves for my Iksar sk, but can't decide if these or my Dreadscale gloves are better. More AC and dex with the dreadscale, but more Str and Sta with these. Cant decide..

Cos necros got their own items that day. Most (not all, some of the casters were grouped together) got unique items. Rangers got ranger only items, sk's got sk only items, necros got... actually I'm not sure what necros got but hey :-)

Since these bad boys are purple, I'm getting fashion citations right and left since they clash with my hero bracer.

I thought hero bracer was lore? Well if it was all you had to do was swap your bracer from your left wrist to the right and vice versa. You should get the grafik for the other bracer (after you zone/die/camp/the sleeper awakens on your server - whichever, I don't remember).

Pretty nice for level 5? These are great for my 26 DE. Str is always a issue with me, and these are leaps and bounds better than the Shin I've been using. Life on Rallos with out no-drop is nothing but a short dream.

I got these for my shadow knight... being lvl 5 they are pretty nice =). I just like the name makes them sound sophisticated.
