I love this cloak. I don't think i'll ever replace it in my life. I got it at around level 18 in the NRO event around Halloween. Me and Ravenfeather tried and tried to get something pertaining to us, and this beauty dropped and someone was kind enough to call out the location. (Whoever you were, thank you). I still use it and love it and I'm 25 now.
I thank heartily those kind people who take the time to call out items not pertaining to them, It's a kind gesture to write out the loc string, because it takes away from killing time. I had the best time in that event, and I'm thanking my lucky stars I got this cape-- Although I wish there was a cape graphic. That would look awe-some!

yes geting it at lvl 21 is nice but not as nice as geting it at lvl 15

I was wondering how often they have GM events because this item looks really good so plz tell me.
Better then my current cloak of the ice bear. Shoot wish i got one... Oh well maybe next GM event this comming Thanksgiving a nice GM would donate one to me. Tell then i guess my COTIB is good enough.

I see that the cloak was available in all the events. Wasn't the NRo even t a little easier than EK? I thought WC was on par with EK, but I never got to the one in Rathe.
Lots of you are very high lvl and say this is a good cloak for you. Did I completely luck out in getting it at level 21? Will this work well for me for a long time?

I'd say you did quite well to grab this at 21 and will be set until you start to regularly group in places like Sebelis and Karnors and do dragon raids. Do a search for ranger-usable back items ordered by AC and you'll see what I mean. Nearly everything that has better AC drops in zones for 45+ or is a velious tailoring item thats well out of most rangers price range. Add in two stats any melee can always use more of and no weight and you've got something that if it was a regular items would probably be found in places like the Hole and Karnors.
Point in case, at 47 I picked this up in EK on Sunday and its relegated my Kunzar Cloak and Cloak of Icebear to the resist gear bags.

Not every cloak with higher than 8 AC is in a 45+ zone, I have a Hooded Black Cloak, 10 AC 5 Str 45 HP, that drops in Mistmore off A Cloaked Dhampyre. Pretty easy kill for me and a 37 necro, it harm touched for 330 but didn't cast after that.

I agree, this is a great find - especially at 21! I spent the entire weekend looking for one because I HAD done the research and knew there was nothing else I could get at 31 without great difficulty. Finally got one! This replaces my Kunzar cloak, too. Perfect upgrade.

I was lucky enough to loot one of these on Friday 11/2, in EK. As everyone knows, it's basically an /ooc free-for-all of class specific drops, so I think a little patience is all that's really required. This is a nice replacement for the Lizzy Cloak.
This is certainly the best RNG drop I saw. Other drops were the infamous bunny slippers, the sharkskin cap, the neckpiece, and, I believe, an earring. I have the cap and the neck as well, since no one else wanted them, but they're not nearly as good as this.
Was there a Boss-drop that was RNG only? I never saw or heard of one, and neither has Allakhazam. Yet.

I just looted this cloak in EK tonight during the GM event and now have a lizzy scale cloak gathering dust in my bank! It's a great item, and a great feeling to have got something out of the event - woot!
Spent AGES searching for this cloak... dunno why but I became obsessive about grabbing it :-)
Anyway, hats of to Kainh for getting it for me and waiting while I trotted over to grab it. I love this thing (if anything, I wanted to walk out of the event and proudly say 'I have the Cloak of the Woven Storm' rather than 'oh, yeah, I got those bunny slippers...')

I got this cloak of a /loc corpse, cause I tried and tried but it didn't drop for me. It's pretty cool, I often use it if I want the extra +Dex that my spider fur cloak doesn't give me.

Just replaced my Rangers studded cloak with one of these bad boys... I logged on my 18 ranger (even though I could have joined the KSers with my 42 SK... i'm not like that )... killed a lesser werewolf and bam the cloak drops... great cloak, excellent stats, and only wish I wasn't in competition with the other 220 people in WC that day.

I looted this in North Ro last night and i love it. I replaced my Dire Wolf cloak with it. Only thing that sucks is it has one less str, but apart from that it is great.

I saw this cloak on morell-thule today, werewolf dropped in in WC event. I wish I was playing my ranger so I could have got it.

Saw someone in /ooc giving a loc to a Ranger Only Cloak. Made may way to loot this beauty. However the great feeling was only surpassed by someone giving me rude gestures because I got to it before them.
