Traders satchels can be made with simple set of supplies.
Using platinum thread, and a backpack pattern for a guide to the basic shape, sew together either a high quality bear pelt or a high quality rockhopper hide with a high quality cat pelt. You will need to be sure to sew in some steel boning to give the satchel the extra rigidity needed. Use the same dyes that are used to make hand made backpacks to get the color you wish.
