These do indeed drop from the goos in DN. We've gotten a couple, though they seem to be a bit of a rare drop. Most times the goos loot is a no-drop, grub looking, regen item. As far as the use of this item, it is the level 39 ress, which is approxiamately 50% exp back. If anyone thinks this item is useless they are totally wrong. This comes in handy especially when deep in a dungeon. Example: One time we got wipeout and all died but the monk who had one of these, he moved the bodies to a safe spot and ressed the cleric, who then was able to ress the rest and we continued on without having to spend money on coffins, plus we were able to port out later taking the monk with us. The exp the cleric lost was minor compared to the exp gained that day.
i may be wrong but im pretty sure after you receive a 90% or 95% rez your corpse is still capable of having resusatate cast on it . you wont get any more xp out of the corpse but you will be summoned to your corpse.
im sure someone will find a very useful situation for this item. remember the Eye of Zomm spell,i hear so many ppl say its a totaly useless spell but many of us know its just the opposite
Elder Holgresh Beads cast eye of zomm, and necs and monks are terrified daily that it will be nerfed because of eye of zomm's usefulness.
For necs: eye of zomm gives an unlimited source of hp/mana. Lich, BoD an eye now and then and the very efficient mana regen cycle is not dependent on speed of pulls or the resistance of the mobs. (Many velious mobs are immunte to magic and cannot be tapped) The utility of eye of zomm in many cases outweighs the usefulness of the nec's pet. (Can't have a pet and eye of zomm out at the same time)
For monks: the eye of zomm is a great pulling tool. Cast one, FD, and you have a scout that won't transfer aggro to you but will move mobs.
Many, many spells like this with no obvious use have powerful applications in certain situations.
a cleric friend of mine has taken more than one pally revive(0% exp) and 50% resses in order to save on a long CR which would slow down or stop the rest of the group/raid, no she's not 60, she's 59th there's some other uses for this as well, which I won't get into detail about.. just say, it allows any class to bring anyone else to the site of their body.. where ever it may have been moved to...
Last I heard, these dropped in WL off Goos not in DN. I've never seen a Goo in Dragon Necropolis but we'd hunt em for a couple of these most certainly!
May be usefull when your hunting or safe spot is deep inside a dungeon. Just have your local rogue /duel your mage who has CoH. Drag the mage's corps to safe spot and right-click the Goo... Med up, CoH your group and get into action.
More specifically: PoM. One of the current tactics for entering the Plane of Mischief is for a monk to drag a mage's body to the entrance, then use a charge off of a staff of forbidden rites (Lady Vox drop) to res him, and the mage proceeds to CoH in the remainder of the raid team. You could use a goo instead of burning one of the charges.

Well, I hear clerics are mortal too... Sometimes they even go fight several zones from their bind point. Or maybe they die and are needed at the bottom of Kaesora or within Karnor's and can't fight their way in and withoutthem you REALLY don't wanna fight your way back out...
