It no longer indictates that it is expendable upon inspection, but it is indeed single-use. Item disappears after applying (or failing to do so). Item is retained if you are not a rogue.

you get a item to make treat a weapon to do somthing to it i'm think it adds a effect to it for ever cuz he tells you make sure you choose your weapon right bucuase it is only enought to treat one weapon

i did quest with sac but i brokren have to figre out how to make weapon with item form quest

BTW, for all you high level rogues out there, I *think* this is for a new poison quest in Erudin. There's a guy in the inn who wants a few items including this (It's either this or an ancient asp sac... Pretty sure it was this). Don't know what the result of the quest will be, but I *think* it might be a better poison.

Anybody here note that its expendable with 1 charge?... that means you click it, and kabam, the Mob is dotted...

No it means that the rogue sits down on his bee-hind and uses his apply poison skill and his next attack will dot his target.

I remember how few rogues cared about poisons. I began collecting them, just to sell off to those rogues that wanted it. Of course, I only had poison of the bigger mobs that no one wanted. Then I remember seeing Reefman on rallos zek (the greatest server), in the team best of the best. Lol, he sat down in the middle of a fight, and everyone kept asking why. Then he stands up, and bam! The cleric is poisoned and barely able to move while Reefman is backstabbing them. Just remember, poison can be effective. Also deffective, as you can poison yourself.

You were close to how much damage it does, SuBoneTL :). 1110 hp in 37 sec is very nice also

37 ticks isn't 37 seconds, bud. 1 tick is equivalent to 6 real seconds. That means that 37 ticks is equal to 3 minutes and 42 seconds. After 37 seconds, the spell will have done 100DD, and 185 DoT, for 285 damage total. But, hey, you knew that, right? 'Cause it says it right there in your post... "Spell Duration: 37 ticks (3.7 minutes)" If you're gonna post info that you don't know yourself, and put your name on it, then don't also try to patronize someone who probably knows a lot more about it than you do. First of all I'll defend him by saying he probably meant to say 'ticks' instead of 'secs' which you readily pointed out.
Now on to the real damage done by this poison.
Being a rogue (one of many alts), I've done my homework and can tell you that this poison does 100hp DD, then the DoT drains away 30hp/tick for 37 ticks causing a total of 1110hp damage. Add the initial 100hp DD and you actually have hit for 1210hp.
Please don't flame... it really betrays your true age. Instead, I challenge you to simply do the research and correct any mistakes you may find.

Good response to the flame :).
This is the same poison Slyder uses on you when you're fighting him. It's about equal to 2 of the 34-39 level Shm/Nec Scourge being cast one after the other. ~1200 damage over about 4 mins, or a little less. It works a little faster than Scourge, and is poison based, but it's more easily resisted. Not sure about AP skill required to apply it successfully, so, you're gonna wanna have at least 165-180 I'd guess. Anyway, still a nice little toy to save for sometime special:-P Be safe, y'all.
