Ruins of KunarkParked my SK in the "wry" imp room. He popped several times in an hour before dropping the dagger hilt. Next camped the "a sly kly imprecator" room (Laboratory) for hours before realizing that Jaxun is right and parked two other toons in the "wry" room and "shy" room in order to clear out placeholders. Took around 8 pops for "sly" to appear and drop the jagged metal shard.
So yes, park a toon in each imp room to clear placeholders in order to force a pop.

I hunted him for 2 days of placeholders and after reading the information posted by JaxunDarkheart, I went back through Dalnir and made sure that none of the other imprecators were up (one had been), and then returned to the lab room. Within the next hour or so of clearing the placeholder he spawned. This may support the theory that only one of them will spawn in the zone at a time?

I've been camping the Imprecator in the Lab on the third floor for over three days now. Still not a single pop. I've tried keeping all the spawn points clear, I've tried making sure the imprecator wasn't in any of the other two spawn points, I've tried everything my frustrated mind could think up.

I think I may have found a way to make him spawn. Keep in mind I say "may". I didn't stick around after getting my jagged shard since I was so eager to get out of this place.
When camping the lab with my ranger (so I could use his track), I noticed the Imprecator upstairs kept spawning. As a last ditch effort, I hit the teleporter, went back in, and camped the Imprecator room upstairs. I killed the Imp that was already up, cleared some of the hallways spawns to keep busy and hit my tracking. The Imp was up, but not upstairs. After a quick check in the church, he wasn't there, I was elated. Ran to the lab, offed the Imp, looted the final shard and hit the teleporter.
I would strongly advise having a tracker along when camping. Maybe we can get someone else to verify if this method works.

I've been doing the same thing over and over with my ranger for days and still no lab imprecator. These spawns are sick for what you get, lol. I just keep running in circles, killing the KI in the alcove and moving down to the lab... over and over and over, meanwhile killing possible PHers.

Camped this guy for over 8 hours now and got nothing. I have cleard the dining room and the little side rooms to it as well, hoping this would help and found it never did.

I was lucky enough to buy mine from a vendor in Cabilis, for 2p:) hehe...I've also seen many people selling them in East Commonlands on the Bristlebane Server, so you can probably buy cheap from people who do not know the use of the shard:)

Kly imp drops parts for necro's visceral dagger quest. I camped whole week and finally got my dagger, it was painful...but worth it.

Camped the imp that dropped this for 8 hours in one day and he didnt spawn. Friend camed it fer 15 hours and no spawn. I even heard of folks camping this thing for 40+ hours and the friggin thing didnt spawn. This is horrible heh... u take the time to get the other items and gotta camp the lab for weeks. Apparently the imp in the lab is a extremely rare spawn. You have been warned!
