The headband is a worn effect, not triggered, and it's also Beastlord useable.
The races should also be expanded to include Barb, Troll, VS, and Ogre.

It says the ultravision is triggered. And it also doesn't say (worn) after it or (combat). SO i was just wondering, does that mean u just right click it for ultra vision?

I do not understand what all the fuss is about, this is an Ubra Monk item just like other classes get "Ubra" items and Monks dont depands on the slot.
As for Fyree Fizts whats the point in complaining about something it seems you know nothing about. Whats the point in making items obtainable by, What, one group? two groups? the whole point in having items like this is so that it makes the game interesting, I can't say for other servers but on Karana server there are about 4 Guilds that can obtain this item <Valoran>, <Paralax>, <NightBane> and <Gray Hawkes> I'm not sure if anymore can or have tried though I know these can, have, tried and obtained I'm sure that is is not the only server that has guilds on it that can obtain these sort of items.
No point what so ever in having a charecter that has all the best items in the game "well maybe one or two" but not everyone or there is nothing to gain by playing.

The world is "über" not ubra.
This would be good for a human monk, but for an Iksar Infravision is probably enough...

Actually, you wear this item for the stats; the Ultravision is just a minor bonus.

I understand the conflict of doing this, hoping that people on your server won't rise up to meet the challenge and pose competition for this item. Let me put it this way, if this item is as uber hard as I think it is, there probably isn't much chance of it being snatched from you and your uber guild anyway, maybe you could help form relations with other uber guilds on other servers by sharing strategies and tactics having the wonderful experience of mutual benefit. Good, eh?

This may be part of the rumored VI's plan to help Monks be less of the all/all tank that they currently are. There was some talk about this after the Twin Cities Fan-thing. Some things I read made me believe that they were aware the monk specific itmes never seemed to stack up to the more all/all gear.
It has the same AC as Crown of the Kromzek Kings Similar resists, 1/2 the Hit Points (I believe) and of course less weight and some good +stats added. Not sure if this is a new item or just recently found. Either way it is an awsome item.
Now if there a wider selection of mid-level items that a larger % of the EQ players could go for, that would be nice :-).

No doubt about it, monks are getting some very nice items to look forward to obtaining.

the majority of monks out there are never going to see anything like this, i for one won't.
the thing is that the only way you can get anything worth having in this game is if your in an uber guild, i think that just sucks, cause how many uber guilds are there? not many (on one server) so all you out there thinking your gonna have one of these, think again, cause it probably won't happen.
just stating the obvious that you all seem to lack the sight of.
