Just curious. If you ware them do the in habitands change there KOS? Maybe each type is for each lvl. Bronze for the first floor, silver for the second floor and so on. Any one?

Lol, this drops of skeleton Lrodd, near the top well, on the first floor of Befallen. Lrodd is easy to if he is black or lower. When you attack you will probably end up with 2 various Dark Followers and sometimes a ghoul of sorts.

this and the other Sigil's might be for a quest that is yet un-discovered. Ever think of that? Might be a decent item. hmmm...maybe you should check it out before you slam the place

Posted: Jun 30 2001 at 5:27 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) They make Befallen 10 levels higher than it used to be, then they fill it with CRAP that no one wants...(like this) and tell the newbies "Phat Lewtz Inside" and they all go get killed and whine because they can't get their corpses back. Verant gave us this kind of JUNK and some serious NERFS on the day AO was released....I guess they want us to go play that....
Olavf, before you start slamming the stuff in Befallen, maybe you should go there and LEARN before you speak. The bronze sigil is what drops off the wimpy Dark Followers who are at the entrance to Befallen and surrounding rooms on the first floor. Name me any other zone of 30 or below where you can get "phat lewts" from the yard trash? Can't do it? Neither can I, I wonder why...and keep in mind also, while they junk they drop is just that, bronze sigils and rusty daggers, I saw alot of plat drop. Mind you, only 1pp or so per kill, but from a 15th or so level junk mob, that's not too bad.
As for the stuff down below (and even some of the caster mobs on the first floor), they drop bronze & fine steel weapons, minor caster robes, and alot of very nice no drop stuff. The Servant's Blade comes to mind at 11/30 or so plus stats for most melee classes, as well as the Guardian Dagger which is not bad as an offhand piercer at 8/30 plus some dex/agi/sta. Not to mention all that Pristine Studded Leather, which has ac better than Blackened Armor and better stats, AND is wearable even by druids! Need I go on?

My new bard could solo them at lvl 14 - where blue to me, very low blue, so even lower than 15 and good cash loot plus other stuff like sr. apprentice robes and this sigil.
Maybe a necro could solo them sooner - or group and go to the front room at like lvl 8 or 9 and get some newbie stuff like this and the robe for free. Some people actually like to work for their equipment and for an untwinked newbie at this level, the stuff that drops in the New Befallen is just good enough.
As there are actually 3 sigils - bronze, silver and gold - all lore and no drop - it *might* be for a yet undiscovered quest.
Same with the ritualists gown (lore, no drop, no rent) that drops of much higher level DEs on lvl 3.

Because I'm trying to play AO. It took me 2 days to create a character. I have yet to actually register a kill. I haven't even spent my IPs yet. I've only died twice. I'm *trying* to play the competition, and keep coming bqack to EQ because, well, it works. It works about 97% of the time, while AO is *not* working about 80% of the time in my experience. Even when I can log in, I can't stay logged in long enough to do anything. Bah!

Actually, a ton of very nice stuff now drops in there. Im planning to go camp that 5 AC 4 int 10 cha sv magic veil... and im lvl 53. )

Found one on a dark follower outside the room where the SK drops the first key.
