Busy crafters oft need to
wander far from home an'
regular meals. Be sure to have
a nourishing snack along to
tide ye over.
Dry three bunches of berries
wit' yer smoker - be sure to
use very dry wood as we want

'em! Once ye've dried the
berries, simply mix them wit'
chocolate marr cherries an' a
kiola nut for a scrumptious
snack!
~Warm Weather Whimsy~
A warm snap raised the
temperature of Everfrost and
the surrounding areas to just
| below freezing. Residents of
Halas celebrated the record
highs in many different ways:
swimming in the channel,
donning short kilts and
sandals, or sunbathing.
Rosin MacGrove commented,
"Don't you just love this
weather?" She pointed to her
new freckles, "It's enough to
put the color back in a girl's

| cheeks!"
The celebration came as a bit
of a shock to out-of-towner
Aarlia Thornrunner, of
Kelethin.
"What is WRONG with these
people?"
