~ Brawl in Innothule Swamp ~
Deep in the murkiness of Innothule swamp a small fight has occurred. Usually such a thing is not
| news here in Halas, however this brawl was started by the Frogloks of Gukta who assaulted a group of High Elves and their hired arms. It is not every day one sees a Froglok fighting a High Elf, especially a horde of Frogloks bearing the battle marks of Gukta. According to reports, the brawl lasted for less than
|
| three hours and although the hordes of Gukta outnumbered the hired men, the Frogloks were defeated and the High Elves fled into the darkness of the swamp.
The Frogloks of Gukta claim the intruders were performing dark rituals, which provoked their
| attack. When asked how a small band of uncoordinated mercenaries could defeat the hordes of Gukta, the Frogloks replied with some gibberish about dark magic and artifacts. Are these the same hordes that defeated and exiled the lumbering Trolls of Grobb? When asked if the assault on the intruders was
|
| justified, a representative or Gukta only had this to say "Our only regret was that we were unable to stop the vile necromancers from escaping with their prize. It was the guidance of Marr that alerted us to their presence. It is the will of Marr that justifies our actions."
