Volume 8, No. 2
~Wayfarers Find Grozmok Stone~
The Wayfarers Brotherhood has located the Grozmok Stone.
Calliav Giniuar, a magician becoming known for his strange visions, is now studying the stone.
| "Our friend, Calliav, is researching the Grozmok Stone and believes it has some kind of magic that may impact our next journey," said Morden Rasp, Wayfarers Brotherhood leader.
The ship that the Wayfarers Brotherhood is building in Nedaria's Landing is well underway as well.
"We're always looking for enterprising young Norrathians to help us out here," Rasp said.
~Animal Rights Protest~
Druids from Kelethin stormed Halas last week and set up a protest outside of Mac's Kills.
|
| Cindl, a tailor, was one of the primary targets of the protest. The druids demanded that she stop giving rewards to citizens who brought her polar bear hides.
"I'm just trying to make a living and help out our younger citizens get their start in life here," Cindl said with tears. "We'd die up here in the cold without fur!"
A druid, who refused to be named for fear of repercussions, said they just want to help save the defenseless polar bear cubs who are being slain at a very unhealthy pace.
"We have to protect our environment across Norrath," the source said. "It was a peaceful protest. We just wanted to make a point."
The druids were quickly ushered out of Halas by the guards. There was no violence during the protest.
Halas is quiet once again, but it is doubtful anything will change for Halas citizens.
