I was bored, and inspecting my gear, to double-check what all was giving me what stats...
short and sweet, the stats increased. I kid you not! it was 5ac 20hp 5 sv fire & magic, it's now 6ac 40hp 5 sv fire & magic

Hail! I am Emylie, an elven druid on Mithaniel Marr. I was involved in this event here. I received this item as well(and Lamarle, fighting the Faceless is NOT a newbie event)and I was rather dissappointed in it considering that it does not at all fit a druid's stat needs, but I still wear it proud!

Hi, this is Crystin. The event involved a return of Firiona Vie to Felwithe. From there, she led us to meet her unicorn friend, Equestrielle. Following this, there was a ritual to summon Tunare. I was one of four people involved in this. Tunare was summoned, there was talk of a lost weapon, and the Faceless made an appearance. We kicked the crap outta him, and sent him back to Fear. There was a minor problem with the unicorn's horn (caused by CT, of course.), and it had to be severed by FV. For those curious, yes, we did keep the titles. Come see me in GFay/CrushBone area on Xegony server if you don't believe.

any info one what happened with the event? just to let u all know all these events that have been happening like this quest as well as the one for ashtets bejewled dagger and azibelles scarf of the night are all linked. i would like to get involed in one of these events so any info on this or anyt of the others would be helpful

That cloak is completely useless at high levels but I would love this earring. High ac, hps, and resists. You cannot ask for more.

I, being a level 49 monk, would wear this earring in a heartbeat. 5 AC is very hard to get in an ear item, let alone 5 AC, AND 20 HP's, AND some resists. AC, HP's, and resists are what a monk lives by in the high level game...or dies by as the case may be. I'm just as sure that any melee class would wear a 5 AC, 20 HP ring unless they had some uber earring. For an ear piece, it just doesn't get a whole lot better (for melee at least) than this without an uber drop.

I'd be pissed if I was given this as a prize, compare it to the cape given out at the same event
AC+5 Str+5 Dex+5 Wis+3 Int+3 MR+15 FR+15 CR+15. Poor Crystin got the raw end of the deal, unless his surname The Fire Caller was given out as a reward too.
