Dropped off of a Sentry of Sathir. I rolled first and Tada got me one. It was so cool. I also got myslef a Blackjack and guess who's Ranger was only created a Day prior Hello he has pretty nice items now I've been twinking him so that when he gets to the level of the things I have given him his skills will be there. He wont use any of the other things I've given him except for perhaps the armor.
I'm selling one of these on Solusek Ro. NO...its not 6kpp..that's nonsense. More like 1.5-2kpp. There is also a Damage Bonus of about 14 on it as well. The effect is 110DD-unresistable! Give me a tell on Palledine or Lthaar or e-mail me: Palledine@hotmail.com
i was in a group i just randomly started up in KC. we were holding Rroom and we got trained out. while regrouping i saw a monk fighting a sentry of sathir. he had to zone so we finished it off. this thing drops and the group tells me to keep it since i am the only ranger. and i have to say this thing roxs. 110 DD is great. althought it does pull aggro a bit, but no real problem when i have jolt out. so just to make sure everyone gets it. this thing drops off of a sentry of Sathir.
Can any1 tlel me what lvl this weapon procs at please. Some1 said 46. i certainly hope it aint that cos i am only 34 now. but i do like the hits i am gettin considerin my skill now in 2HB is only (62) hehe ) mite start a new ranger and give it this an train 2Hb from start.
What mob(s) have people seen this drop off of? I'm lvling in KC these days, and would love to maybe get one from a drop rather than dropping cash(that I don't have) on one.
I got my on 3-10-02. My 2hb was 0. I was messing around with it. I got it up to a 2 and it's proced 5 times in battle.. Not sure what damage I was doing ,but with proc's I did 550 by myself. This thing rocks. Can't wait till I get it to 200...
Pick up an abandoned orc shovel, or similar fast 2hb to train up your skill. the delay on this is relatively high, and you won't train up fast. The abandoned orc shovel, on the other hand, has a very low delay, and while the damage on it stinks, you'll train up much faster.
The 110dd unresistable proc is pretty sweet, but even sweeter is double crushing for an average of 100 damage each hit. The most I have done in one round of damage with this thing is 367 damage (including the proc of course) and it's gonna get better once I level enough to raise 2hb past 200. (Or get my STR past 130 :p )
1. It seems they have changed the way damage bonus is listed. Every one of my 51 rangers weapons now have a damage bonus listed. All of his 1 handed weapons have a damage bonus of 8. I assume this is the regular bonus that all weapons get beginning around level 29. Now the bonus on my Natures Wrath is 18 which would make the 2hand bonus 10 at 51 since the regular bonus is 8 at 51(8+10 = 18, duh).
2. This thing seems to proc for me a lot. I'm not really sure if different weapons have different rates at which they proc or if the only determining factor is DEX, but this seems to proc 2 or 3 times almost every fight. I don't remember seeing this on any other procing weapon I've had, and I'm pretty sure my Fluxbladed axe doesn't proc that often, even in my main hand. Also all the other procing weapons I've had were 1 handers w/ dly 26 or less, this has a dly of 44 so I am getting more procs on fewer swings. Of course maybe there is a bonus to the chance of procing on a 2handed weapon also (Anyone care to comment on that?) Of course in the end it may just be that since Nature's Wrath is unresistable maybe it just seems to proc more cuz I am more like to notice the ones that land. (I think resisted procs only give one line of text "a_mob_01 resists your proc" whereas ones that land give 3 lines: Cast, damage, and emote and the spell effects)
Now if I could just get my 2hb skill up so I can more damage than just what i do with the proc.
Just acquired one, but with my less than stellar skill, will take some time before I use this regularly.
The Proc seems to based on several factors: DEX, Skill, and Attack Rating
I have 4 Procing weapons. By far the best proc'er is the Dragon Horn Ykesha (a piercing weapon). I believe this has to do with the 3 factors mentioned above. Pre 51, Rangers max their Dual Wield out at 210, obviously higher than pre-51 offense alone. So the extra skill in this category aids in the proc (versus the lack of that extended skill while using a 2HS/B). Being 2-Handed weapons, both the Swarmcaller and Nature's Wrath do not utilize the dual wield skill, but rather just the offense skill.
Dexterity, it has been shown in other posts and at other sites, is a contributing factor in landing a blow, landing a critical blow, and double attacking. The extra to hit boost from Dexterity should provide some additional chance to Proc for the weapon in question, as it aids in landing the swing.
I don't believe I need to say anything about attack rating that I haven't already touched on in the previous two paragraphs, except that if you spent all your time with blades up to the lofty level you have reached, good luck moving your skill in 2HB. I did just that, and now at 50 have a hefty 37 2HB skill against Mobs that hit in the low 100's.
Lolanya 50 Ranger Sacred Legion of Tunare Innoruuk
Taunts well? Every higher lvl ranger should have one? er... I'm not sure about u, but taunting is something I want to do about 5% of the time. Otherwise, I use Jolt and let the tanks with the much higher AC take the hits - I'm just there to outdamage the other melees P:
Really lucky, got one for 5kp on Veeshan a few days ago... just after I sold my Tolan's Gaunts and rebreather. But now I have to start practicing a new weapon skill altogether :-(
My guildies <Obsidian Guard> said that the proc was also completely UNRESISTABLE, and would always hit for the full 110 dd... Was looking for a nice 2h to use in case I got bored... this one's gotta be great for pure damage.
Oh ya... if you're planning to use something like this in the future, don't do what I did for 43 levels and just practice your bladed weap skills: Balance them all... I'm having to practice a new weap skill altogether on mobs hitting 100+'s at times... and I'm pretty much hitting for nothing <but they still taunt onto me!! ack!>... kinda scary.
