Wouldn't dot be better with wu's quivering staff since it has a delay of 28 and a damage of 25? vs a 1-3 X proc of 88 and a delay of 40?

I bought this staff on the Rathe for 450 plat for my warrior. I consider that a steal for this weapon, and I will explain why.
First, it is a great ratio weapon. At 26/40 for its cost, it is faster than alot of 2h blunt weapons. The stats on it are nice, but the 96 point DD exxect that starts proc'in at level 36, was really nice. Considering I only have 110 Dex, I didn't think it would proc alot, as my other proc'in weapons don't, but this thing procs atleast 3 times a mob. That extra almmost 300 points of damage makes the fights go alot quicker. I give high marks for this weapon, and if you can get it cheap, more power to you. I however feel it is worth alot more than it is being sold for. My favorite weapon to date. This of course, is just my opinion. I know there are better weapons out there, not saying there isn't.

I am sure as hell glad I started playing on the Prexus server. I got one of these for my 31 monkie, hasn't proc'd but when I get lvl 36, I should proc a bit, with 131 dex. Oh, btw, I payed 150pp for this thing on Prexus. If anyone was wondering. Don't know why the inflation on the other servers though, maybe I should transfer servers and sell all my junk, I would make a killing!

No items are transferred along with your character when you transfer servers, just spellbook (if applicable).

I got it for 200 and the next one up was 1.2k then 1.5k on tholuxe.
Then some other person had the nerve to tell me that the staff sucked.

i picked one up today for the ever worthless now, rygorr battlemail, traded even, this'll do good in my monks hand alongside 1hb CoT and shaded staff ----rdy for battle. My 2cp worth anyway :)

at level 51, it is a 26/40 with 16 damage bonus weapon for a monk that procs for 96DD about once a fight with a DEX of 101. I still wield FB/COT for soloing and place this bad boy in a a katta bag (85% Weight Reduction) until grouped or going up against mobs with a damage shields. 10 stones is alot but in the bag I'm fine and right at 18 stones when wielding it nd putting my FB/COT in the bag
It consistantly does between 60 and 110 damage when my strength is unbuffed but takes too long to finsh of running mobs compared to my fb/cot combo. I picked it up for 500pp on Xev.

I just traded my Wakizashi of the frozen sky for this and a spiny (something or other) sword. Man did I get a good deal. Now I only have to get my 2hb skill up past 24! :)

Like the subject says, definitely a random drop. We picked it up off a froggy at the exit, and you could tell he was wielding it. I think that puts it into the same loot table as slime-coated harpoon. I don't remember it proc'ing during the fight, which is surprising, since most wielded weapons will.
The heavy weight makes it a bit challenging for a monk of this level to justify wielding it, since his fists do so much damage by this point. It's a great weapon for sale to lower-level monks, though.

4K for Stormwood. If you got it for the price of a Adamantite Bo Stick then someone was just dumping it off that probably picked up the drop and didn't need the money. You lucked out.

...I'm on luclin and bought this for 700pp - sold it a while later (needed money to buy a Seb Scale Coat) for 600pp. Those folks saying it goes for 10000pp or under on Luclin - where did you see it being sold? Sounds like your prices were way off - or the guy who sold it me didn't know what it ws worth (and neither did I).

Holy crud i picked this up for 300pp. Wasnt sure if i should buy but after readin some of the reply's i think i got a Hell of a deal now just gotta get that 2H blunt up, geeked to start using it solo on giants only 37 not sure what level it procs at? Dumb friggin luck i guess but this new interface is draggin prices down due to competition and i made out like a bandit

This weapon procs at level 36.
From what I've been told, this drops randomly off any of the frogs in sebillis. Is this effect an AE or a DD?

Goes for under 10k on luclin. Decent staff for the money imo. Fun change of pace.
