Scars of Velious Im a 38 shaman and have killed hundreds of these pirates had lots of diff drops like the cloak ac 8 10agi or something and the rapier..the faction hits are minute.. after how many i killed it only dropped to dubious. i can still buy and do quests.. just so people know, if you kill a couple its not gonna hurt.

true, that the pirate factions would kill ya. the pirates are everywhere around IC, and then Frankel the Pirate in nro i hear is lvl 30 or so... but could kill a lvl 60 with such high resists (well what a friend told me i havent tried lol). i grouped with Kaann before, or somthing like that, and we wasted the lil guy a few times. he killed it like 10 times and they where still apprehensive. dont try to kill him THAT much... but a few kills wont hurt.

Getting it tho would cause you to lose faction with the gnomes in IC which cant be fixed to my knowledge, And they have some useful stuff to sell and quest for.
