If this used for Poisonmaking or other trade skills, it should have a tradeskills line in the description, which it does not.. I dont remember this dropping when my main was spending weeks in the OT, so I am guessing it is an new quest item... a collect for one of the tasks or somethign like that.

I do not know what it is for either but it also drops from the big cats in Trakanon's Teeth

Maybe it's for poison pakage or something of the like. Ya know since the Little guy sells it for 33pp and he has mainly Poison Supplies? DOn't know just a thought. there have been Weirder things used in crazier Formulas.

It has to have some use. Other fangs are used as piercing weapons. You can't stack this so its not a throwing weapon. I'm willing to bet that it is for fletching but the method of use is just being ellusive. Maybe you need to combine it with a carving knife or something.

Welcome to EQ where there's always stuff that either rots or is sold to vendors or is simply destroyed when it won't sell and doesn't have an actual use in game

i am pretty sure its not for fletching(as i am a master fletcher and have done extensive research) but i do know at level 18, killing Sabertooths is good exp and if i can sell their fangs for 1pp i am happy. thats 1pp closer to my Blade of Xalgoz.
Does anyone know what it is for. The merchant at the bank in Kaladim offers 1ppand 8 gold for it, but sell it for 33pp. It drops off Sabertooth tigers and Sabertooth tigress in Lake of Ill Omen.
I have yet to see it's value. Maybe something to do with fletching or a rogue weapon maybe????
