When you enter Skyfire Mountains from The Overthere, just leave the corridor. Turn left, and you will find a big globe - the Ancient Wurm is a static spawn in front of this globe. He has quite a long spawn time, definitely more than 20 minutes.

Had this drop off the frist "An Ancient Wurm" that I fought in Skyfire. Not a bad Aug, considering I was looking for one.
