They Verant doesn't encourage twinking.... riiiiight... and they have a mob that can BARELY be soloed by a 40 druid to 20% hp, (garou) drop an item no self respecting shaman druid ranger or warrior would use post 20. So they expect us to use these items or (DUH) give them to some newbie in rivervale that begs from us while we bank, or to our own alts. The reaonsing is beyond me here.... not that I'm pissed or anything, I'd just have rather gotten a skin of the garou when I killed this ****, then this Piece of ****! Erm, ahem..., sorry.... Fang of the Garou also dropped
Traverse Moonstalker Useless class, (druid) post 50, of the 40th season Pyrocat Moonstalker archer of the 25th season Blackitty Pantheramoon smuggler of the 7th season members of Dark Divinity & Flamboyant Swashbucklers on Prexus
PS A very kind 48 inkie cleric helped my take down Garou right after the servers came back up (Garou was up before servers crashed) along with a uber SK, you know who you are. They were kind enough to let a lowly druid come with them to a tower of frozen shadow raid too...
Yeah finally a druid item dropped in velious. too bad it has no decent stats a druid would really want. still gonna have to go with wis or mana for my neck slot., not the melee buffs (= *sigh*
I really dislike it that they have tons of items that are basically only usefull to noobs that are dropped by higher lvl mobs. Its like its basically worthless because by the time you can get it, its not worth getting.
But if they scaled everything up from Kunark to Velious like they did for Normal to Kunark, they items would be so horribly unbalanced and Uber the Classic EQ game would be nothing to the bigger guilds.
YES...I think you hit it right on the head. What warrior in their right mind (even a lvl 5 warrior) would wear this. It's got to be a unknown quest item. It's just ..... GOT to!
Whoever can give me the name of the actor who said the last sentence above gets this item. No, not really.
Hopefully it is. I really can't see who would want to use this item, frankly. Druids and Shamans will want wis (and if they're not getting wis, then they'll want more AC than 1, that's for sure) and Warriors and Rangers won't want to sacrifice that much AC for those little stats. No matter how you slice it, it comes up peanuts.
And I disagree with the "uber" assessment. This item doesn't even compare favorably to a spiked collar. You know, the ones dropped off the 12th level Elite Gnoll Guards? Sure, it has much better stats, but its AC is pretty poor...
