I look back on my years as a
dragorn and remark how many of
my kin have began their lives
and how many I have watched
end them.
I do not know why I am blessed
with long life and this
seemingly unending knowledge.
I can't seem to forget
| anything or find weakness in
this aging body of mine.
Perhaps I do have the blood of
Dranik coursing through my
veins -- I do not know for
sure as my birth is one thing
I do not remember.
So many times I should have
succumbed to illness. I
thought heartbreak would
consume me also.

But, here I sit, lamenting the
fall of my kind. I believe
the taint on the winds that
has darkened our skies has
wormed into the minds of my
people.
The council is not immune
either as we begin to question
each other and our judgment.
| So much suspicion and anger
that was never there before.
And there are whispers
everywhere that I'm not able
to comprehend.
I fear all of this will worsen
before it gets better.
Had I the power, I would right
it, but that doesn't seem
possible now.
