Having a 70 ranger with T1 OoW, these just dont seem ike an upgrade. You lose Fero 1 effect AND ID5 foci for a little more stats and a crappy range foci.

Depends I guess - looking at the focus on the 1.5, it seems that once you get that the ID5 focus here becomes useless (not that I have it yet, and I'm still using Sunrider's sleeves). True that you're giving up Fero 1, but Fero doesn't stack so if you're able to get it in another slot, you won't miss that either.
Just as an aside, the heartwood legs from the firetails camp have a Cold focus that's greater than ID5 as well, so my Sunriders are only focusing Fire nukes at this point.
