Depths of DarkhollowI keep dropping and restarting the mission trying to get the sword to drop and I've gotten the necklace about 6-7 times in a row now.
Anybody else have success with this method and/or can anyone confirm the drop rate of the sword??

these artifacts are to make sure that low lvls cant get it and use it without the item sucking.
Why are any of these called artifacts? That tag USED to mean that there would only be one or a very few per *server* -- you know like some amazing item given out at a GM event ... now it's just a rare drop from an MM??

I have done the mission 4 times now and have not see this sword. Who drop or where it found?
This sword will be found in the chest that you loot the fairy dust and shards of wisdom from.
The loot in the chest is random at about 4 to 1 in favor of the necklace. Keep trying and you will get the sword eventually.

What does it mean by main character, is it the current one or your main?

It means whichever character you are doing that mission with. No idea why it says main character in the descritption, but if you do a monster mission with a lvl 20 alt you will get a lvl 20 reward, no matter what lvl your main is.
I think it means if you go into a MM with a lvl 20 shroud and were say level 65 before you started it will be your main char level not shroud level that determines item.

BELEIVE THIS IS THE LVL61+ VERSION
At level 51-60 you will get the Ornate Shortsword when you zone out. This weapon will have reduced stats (15/20 ratio, 80 HP, +7s for stats)
Starting at 61 this weapon will become Dark Whisperer upon zoning out. DW will have the stats listed above.

This is what the Fairy mission's sword is before it transmutates upon zoning out of Shadow Grove.
