Depths of Darkhollow
I keep seeing people say to go get this sword at around level 60 and replace my beloved Blade of Disruption with it....which is odd because this weapon has a lower efficiency rating than the BoD.
I can't see the meager "healing" provided by rune III being worth the drop in dps?

The kicker on this weapon is RUNE 3, ae aggro when tanking.

I can once again confirm that it does NOT require Jasper's to proc. On light blue mobs it goes off about 3-6 times a fight.
doesnt use jasper. Just description of the spell.

I saw someone running around tutorial with this today on FV, saw one myself in Baz, but twinking a warrior, got Dark Whisperer instead, since not War useable......

Who in their right mind is gonna stock up on 100s of jaspers just for this proc? this will probly proc at least a few times per fight, which can quickly eat through a stack of jaspers... that is just annoying. i havent seen it in game so not sure if they post is correct about using jaspers, but it probably is. i was thinking this might be good for my pali, but if it uses reagents i would rather get a 1hnder from DoN.

weapons do not use reagents when they proc, chief
so you've confirmed that this sword doesn't? cause most weapons do not say they use reagents in the destcription of the proc. only a few say that the proc uses some kind of reagent.
In case there is still any doubts after reading these posts, I can confirm 100% without any doubt...these do NOT use jaspers at all for the rune at all.

yes, I have this sword and can confirm it procs just nicely without having any Jaspers.

Yes none of the rune procs consumes a jasper, and yes I have confirmed it before I've had the SEWS from earth (which proced RUNE 3), I had the 1h weapon that procs Rune II from Plane of water the reason it says that because that is what the spell discription says so it has that on the weapon IT DOES NOT CONSUME A JASPER you can trust me on this one.

No required level = killer. Cant wait to see them show up in bazaar since I play on FV.

I have a lvl 70th SK on Tribunal server and got that last night, it was the artifact in the mission, got it out of the box of heavy explosives and it changed to the Malgrinnor's short sword once mission was completed
