elder spearguard in Iceclad. He's a rare named- I'm told his PH is any "Snowfang spearguard", but when he popped for me, his PH was one of the static ones standing outside Grizlin Bloodfang's hut.

A Snowfang Gnoll
Hmm, a nice upgrade to my cleric's small wisdom diety in the ranged. I'll have to go get him one.

It drops off a Snowfang gnoll called 'elder spearman'. When you see him, he'll be carrying what looks like a Paw of Opolla in his left hand. He's not hard to kill, but certainly not easy. At 52 he conned green to me, but he has quite a fast regen, as he was not losing almost any health at all with Breath of Ro and Drifting Death stacked on him while he was snared/rooted. I was able to kill him by completely mana burning casting Starfire repeatedly, he dropped when I ran out of mana. I'm not sure how he spawns however, I was running through Iceclad and saw him at random, roaming in between the Gnoll camp and the Tower of Frozen Shadow.

what mob does it drop of all i learned is from a high level sha snowgnoll and spanws rare but what is his name.

What makes this such a nice item is that it's range slot usable. Great for priest classes.
Darn, I kinda hate to kill these but I'll have to check ; )
Probably only off a high shaman one = /

The pic looks just like how a fetish pic should look. In case you never noticed, many EQ items share the same inventory art...

It is a true item, and yes the pic looks like that! I have one. Drops from a named gnoll in iceclad. Dont remember the name. Its a rare drop and a rare spawn.

Yes, i cut and pasted the icon to the stats box, i do that with all items i submit.
