Huh?

I just love to hear plate classes trash my "wimpy" AC6 plus stats headgear. Try playin a leather only class sometime, you'll appreciate these easy to get pieces even on a carebear server.
#REDACTED, Posted: May 03 2002 at 12:05 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) WTF is the point in this, who at this level is going to need such a pathetic head item?

Besides the obvious "no drop" for pvp servers, I can think of one thing it would be good for. Dex gear. For rangers that are using the /trueshot discipline, a full set of dex gear would be nice, and this seems like a fairly easy to get dex item for that.

Come to a PVP and complain about this item. When your playing your little flute and get turned into barbecued bard you would love to have this lol. If not I would be more than happy to take a piece of lambent of SS. Damn Carebears =)

Yes, having this little item will help you in pvp. That 6 ac and 20 hp will save you from being killed.

yeah...right.

Playing on a PvP server isn't hard...its just annoying. Whether you are on pvp or pve, this item still isn't very good.

It's called NO DROP. 6ac 20hp NO DROP item is VALUED at those lvls. Unless they changed rules since I last played on RZ (RZ, I hear they changed teams to coin only), you can still get 1 item off the person you killed (+ coin) as long as it's not no drop, bagged, or in a weapon slot. No amount of droppable RoK gear is gonna save yer *** if yer gang banged and neither is this item. The diff is that once yer dead, you can still have yer crummy old item as compared to not having the good tiem. So yea, NO DROP makes it f*kin nice.

Right... since most of the players on are PvP servers...

Ever wonder why there are never splits from PvP servers...?

I have foraged many of these in WL while hunting Tigeraptors near SS entrance.

Dire wolves are one of the best ways to get Dragon faction too, so throw a party and get some pelts... heh... GD on Quellious server looks like a full blown fiesta half the time.
Trading No Drop

All you have to do to give no drop stuff to other people is give it to an animal and kill it then have the other person loot it.

No, that has not worked for a long time. No drop items are auto-destroyed if given to mobs.
easier to kill Dire wolfs

I thought I'd add that the Dire wolfs in East Wastes are easier to kill also 8)
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 28 2000 at 9:53 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ok . . . how stupid is this quest? the reward stinks AND . . . the bark bindings are no drop and the item is no drop.

Considering you can just chain complete this, you only have to KNOW someone who can forage the bark and be there with them to turn in the skin. Shrug not horrible, though the ac could be a bit better, and would be nice if the bark wasnt no drop.

The bark bindings, as I've been told, are foragable in the Wakening Lands. I haven't been there to check it out myself, so this may be just a rumor.
