first off , i does not have to have range to be in the range slot , take the slime coated harpoon for example ... secondly he wouldnt throw it , that would be idiotic, and why you would think he would throw it is beyond me.. but it may very well go in range slot, only it doesnt say range up top, but its 11/21 great ratio , would be a great primary for thos ewithout a lamentation

The reason he would want it in his range slot is to get the stat bonuses.

I posted the question about the range slot capability, and yes, I use a Lam/Sword Breaker combo, and would love this in my range :)

it also spawns before the maze. its level 51, and was easily killed by a group of 6 that were 50+

I got mine off a named wyvern in SS that was level 58 and fortunately was only person in group that could use it, so I got it at 53. I think its a fairly common (relatively speaking) drop off mobs in Skyshrine that are 58+. What makes me think this is I have a screenshot of 2 of the 3 highest level cubes in SS with these spears in them at the same time. As anyone knows who has been there, the cubes show the loots before they are killed quite often. The screenshot was on Tunare server with the Uber level 60 Cleric Omniscience Holylight standing inside one of the cubes playing with the spear. Anyone with good faction in SS can go in and see what the cubes have to offer up and then try to get a raid together for the items. Good luck people, this spear is awesome

Look at the Level to attain ppl this is
NO DROP that means.. its probrably off one of the hardest monsters out there Grats to the person who gets this weapon, but at the requied lvl you are not gunna see no lvl 2 rouge killing everything in the newbie area... only the TOP ppl will be wielding this weapon and /salute to them

It drops in the Cube room in Skyshrine. I saw three of them given away in one hour. One of them was a level 30 rogue with good skyshrine faction, he just walked up there and looted it.

This weapon will drop off of ANY of the wyverns in skyshrine, not sure about the wurms. Thats where I got mine. And you dont need to be level 58, this area is easly grouped at the low 50's high 40's.

True it is random loot off cubes and drakes, don't need to be 58, just have good group and kill buttloads cause it is rare as a virgin over 18 in L.A.

Somebody ain't doin' their job... heehee... the Jade Prod was nerfed because rogues did too much backstab damage with it... wonder how long THIS sucker will stay rogue-usable.

The jade prod come off a mob that a group of level 40 can easily kill, has a 4 hour spawn and drops the prod every time. THAT is why they could not allow rogues to use it. They could not nerf drop rate either as the prod is needed for some key quest.

This is:
a) no drop
b) comes off some hard mob
c) probably not a common drop.

There is more to item balancing than just stats.

Oooooh telling blow Ishwar, telling blow. But I happen to agree with you. There were reasons for changes to prod, this is totally different situation.
