hmm i have these gloves, got em a couple of weeks back on a raid in iewell keep...i was only on for like the first 5kills an these dropped twice....i've checked stats on mine and name and it matches with these so i presume im in the right item here...but mine weigh 0.3 and it says they weigh 5.5 here ....slight difference methinks
I have had these things since lvl 12 or so. They are the most common dropped RVF peice. I am here with a monk and and cleric and chanter and we have just gotten 7 yes 7 stupid gloves in a row (dangit make that 8 now lol) I need the stupid hat and boots. Been here 4 hours all I have seen is gloves (

Woot after 4 hours of hunting these damm dirty apes...er dorfs...I got the boots. Now all I need the crown and i'm outta here.
The Royal Velium gloves and boots beats the pants out of the class Kunark (except for Cobalt) armor gloves and boots easy. They drop pretty frequently also and easy to do if you have a monk puller to separate outside spawns. We got our twinks, pairs with a 53 SHA, 52 WAR and a 47 MNK. None of the Shaman spells landed.

I really wish that all of the people who post crap like i think this item is stupid and your an idiot would just stop. I use this site for reserch and i only want to know about the item not if someone can spell or whatever they said wrong. ONLY post info on the item. I.E. who it drops from, where from, where to pull monster to, items effect or proc. I mean come on tht is what this site was intended for. Not childish word battles.

Most of this gear is pathetic to those who can obtain it, and since a lot of it is no drop...it's a waste of time getting items that are shabby in comparison to what already exists. I'm hoping that higher quality items are discovered as those with the time continue exploring, otherwise kudos to Verant for pointless effort.

Haha I just posted the above, and then noticed the AC. I'd like to add an official "nevermind" for these gloves at least. But in my defense...Velium Great Staff? 12dd proc at level 30; give me a break. What's so great about that?

The Velium weapons are just a Velious fine steel sword. Would you rather have all the monsters drop really old fine steel weapons with no cool look or anything? Thought not.

They are majic as well - great twink gear i guess mostly i sell it for plat though not worth trying to find buyers

and they kick **** for high lvl pet weps. my pet will proc it usually at least 4 times a fight sometimes more.
