Very recently I logged my sk in and tried this spell with my pet up. My pet says absolutely nothing now. It worked years ago but no longer. Haven't tried it with my necro. Not sure if this axe is worth much now.

Voice Graft is working these days, I can't find the patch message where they fixed it, but it's been working for a good while.

Yup, axe still drops. killed them over and over for about 3 hours and axe finally drops. Kobaner wont shut up now. :)
PLEASE CHANGE RARITY. This item is a RARE and 500p is no where near enough. Charging 100p per spawn I have to kill to spawn Axe. Currently at 300 kills and I know people taht will easily pay 30k Plat for this. As for someone paying up to 70k yeah I can see someone paying that much.

Here is some info on the effect...
It is of course clickable. It must be equipped.
What disappointed me was, even though it makes the /say appear to come from your pet, it will not make the /say be heard around your pet's location. Like if you have your pet stand on one side of the zone and you on the other (keeping your pet targeted). Somebody standing next to your pet will not hear the say. But rather, people near you will hear "Jebtik says "something"". So not nearly as useful as I had hoped (was going to sit my pet by the bazaar entrance and advertise through him). But instead, I just make the traders near me angry at that Jebtik guy, even though he is nowhere to be seen. lol.

Dunno if been changed or what, but I camped these for about 2 hours, and got none of these.

I was passing through the Wakening lands the other day, i stopped at the camp of the suits of armor. I killed all of them within a minute, i had two of them drop so i wouldnt really say they're rare. The effect is fun for an SK but the crappy part is you have to equip it and cary an extra 14 pounds =\

Yes this still drops, just got 1 within 30 mins, guess i was lucky not sure lol, but it did not show it in his hand when he dropped it, if this helps any.

It does still drop apparently, although not for me.
The pricing on it above is waaaaayy off though - have seen two on sale recently in Bazaar on Ant. Bayle, one for 70k and the other for 80k. Other posts here have it at more than twice that on some servers.
I wouldn't pay anything like that for it (which is why I occasionally kill a couple of dozen of the Suits on the off-chance) but I'd pay 5k in a heartbeat, so even if 70K is somewhat exaggerated, then 300pp is as far off in the other direction.

There was another for 250pp. Any level 65 player can go to Wakening Lands and simply stand next to the lv 42-46 Suit of Sentient Armor that drop these, do nothing, and it will eventaully riposte itself to death. (This is simply a metaphor for the ease of acquiring this item) Rare or not.

Reyla you must be smoking some good stuff and have alot of 10 yr old players on E'ci Server.
If the armor has this axe will you see it in his hand? Or is the only way to get it to just keep killing them and see if you get lucky?

This is MUST EQUIP and you are required to have a pet summoned in order to cast the spell.

Just bought one today in the bazaar. Knowing that Shadowknights don't get Voice Graft, I decided to grab it. Not sure if I could use it, I summoned the level 9 pet (bought the spell just then, heheh) and right clicked the axe. 2 seconds later, Kibtik was finally able to speak to me! So I can confirm that it can be used as low as level 20.

Since I prefer goofing off as much as I like level, I wouldn't mind having one of these taking up space in my backpack to keep group downtimes interesting.

Just wondering, can the effect on this be clicked from inventory? I know I would sure as hell love to play around with one of these in my inventory and beguile loaded up...

which one would be better for an SK, a drakkel icereaver, or this, a level 9 SK at that, can someone please tell me

Neither, at your level I'd use a mith 2hander. it has same damage, better delay, and has built in haste. Later, once I got a haste item, then maybe the icereaver or this one, either would be good. the reaver would deal more damage because of the proc, but this would be more fun... heh, get both if you can afford them 8 )

mordosskul, you are on Drinal server am i wrong, because i am, and the dark pheonix alliance is on drinal (unless its a different server) i want this axe a lot, and if you would be willing to sell it, i would be so thankful, my shadow knights name is Cebaak, so if you could give me a tell or something when i'm on next, i would buy it...

I got this axe tonight while helping some friends kill off the suits. Yes, and the monk and shamans posted, this is a pretty crappy weapon, but who cares? This thing is a lot of fun to play around with, especially if the person that you are standing near when you make your pet talk doesn't expect it. When I got it, I went to Thurg and summoned a pet and had an argument with it to mess with people. LoL, this is a fun toy to have

Got one earlier for 400pp. Voice graft is fun to play around with, especially when people don't expect it. The effect even works if you leave your pet in one place and go to the other end of the zone, as long as you still keep the pet targeted. This item has little to no combat value though. A novelty and nothing more. By the way, the effect can be used at level 25.

ok, i am a 31 sk and i have a MOSS so basically, this is crap compared but Voice Graft has to be one of the COOLEST little novelties in EQ.

Er..to the guy that said you can do quests with your pet with this..well, you cant. For one, you cant target make your pet target an NPC for it to be able to talk to it, and your pet has the same faction with NPCs that you do..
You most certainly can do quests through your pet.

I have personally not tried this. But have you tried typing out "Hail Soandso"? If hailing them normally does not work. Wich I would think it would. Also, have you tried this while you where feigned? That improves your faction to indifferent wich is good enough for many quest givers to give you the quest information.
