got my tunic on 13th kill was theer for 6mins max, big upgrade on small leather tunic i been carrying since lev 3, lol

I just spent 5 hrs camping the Snowfang Icehunters. They spawn on the ice. I recieved 2 tunics, 2 leggings, 1 bracer and a pair of gloves.
Didnt matter which I killed, its random when any of the armor will drop. As for it being common....5 hrs, 6 drops isnt common in my book.
Sleeves never droped, what I was after.

Btw its not SMR look the gnome race cant wear it the picture is utter crap from some moron its a nice special leather look :) my Bard on Lanys has it if your near EC and you want to see it and you have the textures on to see it send a tell to Deoli and ill run up and you can see it on Half elf unfortunately it looks kinda bad on a Half but WE look nice and High elfs have a Egyptian and white look to it each race has a very unique look in it

All the velious leather including tailored ones have a NEW leather look you need to turn on all the textures in your client file change your LoadArmor18=FALSE to TRUE change ALL the numbered loadarmor files to TRUE and add LoadArmor23=TRUE if its not there btw Cobalt Drake tailored gear looks like this but has Lambent or Cobalt Coloring very very cool and for druids who use the crappy BCP this is higher ac a better look VERY light weight i have Legs and Tunic its 5 wt for whole set i have btw the faction with gnolls is easy to fix ive spent hours killing and repairing faction by killing Ulthorks kill the walking walrus bastiges for Gnoll Faction

Snowfang icehunters drop this armor.
Not worth the faction hit with the gnolls in my opinion.
If you want AC stick with the cured Tizmak tunic.
AC 15 (only one point less than otter hide) with magic resist also. Much more useful item.

It is dropped by the Gnolls out by the tower in Iceclad. Looks sweet too, brown with a yellow design

Humm I have scored a bunch of otter hide gear but have not seen the tunic drop. Please let us know who drops it. As soon as I get boots and the tunic i'll post some screen shots in full gear. No it doesn't look like leather at all. It has a brand new very sweet look and a differnt look for each race. For instance on a wood elf the legs are light tan with ivy crawling up them and on a High Elf female it is all pure white with a nice skinny tri color edge that goes around all the edges. The stats kinda suck but this stuff looks super cool.

Um... hehe, this is just a pic of the guy that found it. I saw another item sent in by him and it had the same picture... it's NOT a picture of the item on him... clearly he's a caster.

I dont think this looks like a SMR. My guess would be Leather. The picture of the Gnome is just a screenshot of the guy who found it. =)

this most certainly DOES exist. Was fishing in felwithe at lvl 4 when along comes a dwarf who I have the audacity to tell to get out of my spot and stop splashing he will scare away the fish. After finding that at the time I had just jumped into EQ w/ no direction and already sick of corpse runs we sat and talked a few. He gave me this Item free (as I try occasionally to do now that I am above 30) It looks very nice on wood elves. It shows 3 grees diamond type patterns down the front and is very nice item at lower levels for druid or at any level for mele. If you see me close to a bank on the rathe , look up thunderknife and I'll show it to you.
