Actually, level doesn't have anything to do with AC, either afaik, it's your defense. the higher it is, the more bonuses you'll get from armor and agi.

I bought one last night in Erud for 15 plat and change from a vendor! Im not sure if thats really the going rate or not :)

The level to attain is too high. We camped the fort in EW with a L35-40 group and killed everyting, including the chief.
Only when a bad pull pulled chief+oracle+4 elites, we needed a mass rez (though, if my RUN command would have been heeded, only one death would have been unavoidable).
I actually got the collar, but since i need the +WIS on my GSC, i will give it to my HEF pallu who needs the +sta bad.

By looking at the stats you would normally say this would be worth WAY more than 500p. AC 9 and stamina 4 amounts to a lot of AC depending on level (the more the higher). However, these must be quite common and so they are not too valuable. Take the tolans helm (one of the best pieces IMO other than legs and BP) it's worth 1-2k on BB while other pieces are worth 4-10k. It's effect is superior camo, which rangers get at 49. The helm works at 45. It would be worth more than 5k, however it is very common.

On Torvonnilous, the collar was going for around 600-700pp...It is a nice collar. The AC and stats make it a good addition to any armor suit. Also, Ry Gorr in general is a good type of armor

i was given my collar in kelethin, don`t know who from but sold it in ec 2 weeks later for 500pp, and i think the guy would have even paid me more?. anyway, since i`m a ranger with little pp i sold it and bought ivy leggings 192pp,trueshot bow 90pp, chainmail gloves and lots of change.whoever he was "GOD BLESS HIM".

AC+9....one of the best neck ac pieces youll find anywhere..worth more than 500pp i would say

lore item for one, can only have one, so once you got it, you got to dump it fast so you can get more... since the ry'gorr are always camped, this is probably a over stocked item now in game, and hence nearly worthless compared to its value, same hold true in real life, over stock of something means you got to get rid of it alot of times even at a loss.!!!
How can it be a loss if you pick it up and didnt buy it. IMO you sell it for what you can get for it. Id rather have the plat than the Item taking up space in my backpack or bank, and yes even if that means selling it for a hundered plat less the the going rate.

Yup, I bought mine for 300p.
As an item it's quite good, but just because it is good doesn't mean it should be sold for a lot. There are many items out there that are inexpensive for their effectiveness. Personally, I think this is a GREAT collar.
