if this is supposed to be a one time thing, then how do so many people get them for sale in the bazaar?? am i missing something here?? lol

I guess you're on FV for them to be for sale, but to answer your question... They're avaiable via quest during the Anniversary (End of March til beginning of May usually) every year, you can do the quest once per character.
1) you may only have 1 if you use all 10 charges you 2) may not do quest and get another 3)it last 30 min unless you die 4) do not get 100% exp from rez Becoulse all buffs are removed in a rez 5)you may use it back to back or save it it wil last til all 10 charges are used 6) cannot be used with LOD.

You know if they would actually think about it, they could make this quest able to do only once a year per toon and that way the higher lvls wouldn't be able to use it to their advantage. I know I can't be the only one who thought of that and not sure why Sony doesn't do that since it wouldn't be to hard for them to do...*SHRUG* oh well guess I'm just another who thinks it's silly.

Actually, they did exactly that ...
The quest becomes available once pr. year, and only one time pr. character. There's a new scavenger hunt this year, but the previous scavenger hunts are once again available, provided you've never done them before.

Yes, its working again but only for those who have not previously done this quest during the last anniversary when it was available. If you have done it previously, (after going thru the quest build up text) Sarvil Amberstone tells you "You've heard all of this before. I don't have another bag that I can give you."

Anyone know if this is working this year? Was gonna check it out after we finished VT fableds, but sony went and reset the servers when we were closing in on AHR

The quest mob is up (well at least the OT one), hes handing out bags, and OT sarnaks were dropping the right item.. so Iyeah I'd say its back.

hahaha I love reading this stuff.. Im on stormm. and I got 2 backpacks.. and 2 of ever item except for the last one when they brought the quest down.. so I am assuming you could do the quest 2x.... all you have to do is hail the NPC before doing the turn in and he gives you the quest again.. and yes GM'd did say "oh a bug" file a report please....

I did it a 2nd time with the same toon and was told by the NPC "Thanks for collecting these all again, but I seem to be out of potions". After 5 petitions to the losers at Sony's so-called customer service, all they can say is, "if you continue to petition it will be viewed as GM harrassment and your account will be banned." So be warned - put in the time to do the quest a second time and all you'll get for your effort is treated like crap from Sony.

You're being treated like crap because you're being an idiot. The fact that there is actual different quest text explicitly TELLING you that you cannot do the quest again should tell you that Sony intended this quest to be run only once. Otherwise high levels would be mass farming this quest leaving it impossible to complete for low/midlevel characters. Petitioning more than once after they've told you there was no bug is in fact harrassment.

Maybe you should get some facts before you demonstrate your severe lack of intelligence. Sony first said there were safeguards in place to prevent the quest being started twice. I showed them the logs then they said. Oh well, file a /bug...we can't help you. Loser. Do you work for Sony?

TY Insolent ...can only do this quest once...but i happened to like the whole tardspeak conversation
I found it quite amusing that a level 1 character on FV was selling 10 of these potions. (FV does not have No Drop). Selling at 50k each and they were the cheapest in Bazaar. As you can only have one character per account on FV this gentleman either had 10 accounts (Unlikely) or kept remaking his toon with elixir's in shared bank. Either way, a rich toon soon to be.

I obtained the Elixir and new Bag, I an going to collect the items again then place the elixir in shared bank and see if it lets me have another. Also I will hand it into the FV NPC rather then the one I got the first Elixir from in OT. Will post again with result.
humm, its not lore. others have posted you can only do it once, but I wonder if there is a way to trick the system by multiquesting it... if that can be done.

Can anyone confirm if the elixir will boost AA gain like it does XP, and ,if it can be extended through AA and/or focus items?

XP is XP. It doesn't matter where you set your AA slider, your XP gain is going to double for the duration of this buff.
AA buff extension skills (Spell Casting Reinforcement) do extend the duration of this buff. However focus items do not.
This buff can be dispelled. Try to have a lot of other buffs ahead of it for less risk of dispell.

I first did this quest with my lvl 42 warrior and got potion. Then I did this same quest with my lvl53 shammy and now we both have the potion, So it is posable to have all you char's get this quest and have the potion's.

Expendable means when you use the last charge, it disappears.
That's a bummer. This is a great item until the charges run out, but if it didn't disappear, I could have useless scavenger hunt rewards in both hands...

No, not rechargeable.
I just did this quest for a second time. When I turned in the sealed bag to the quest PC she said something like "Thank you for collecting all of the items again, but I don't have any more potions left."
2 hours wasted. 1 note, I still had my first potion. Don't know what she would have done if I had used my potion first and then did quest again...

I too attempted a second quest since the item is not lore. I had the elixir on me at the time and was refused the quest altogether.
I tried a trick to even start the quest a second time. I asked for a new bag AFTER I did the combine on the first one, but BEFORE I turned it in to get the Elixir. She gave me a 2nd bag, then I turned in the sealed one and got the Elixir. Gonna try one more time I guess after elixir runs out...
