In reflection weapons like this have become ALOT better than they were back then.
Why?
Well a big issue back then was stats, you needed good stats and resists to stay alive but now with defiant gear this is generally met. Yet weapons themselves from defiant have no procs, whatsoever.
I know some out there are gonna say 'yeah but their ratio' or perhaps 'ldon augs' - I do get that. But, weapons like Sword of Skyfire are AoE and essentially do up to 225dmg. At that level, that's huge. I've also noticed that with a modest combat effects of 3-6 this thing procs a lot. Sometimes 3-4 times per mob and that equates out to some pretty good damage. Since your resists are better off these days, you should resists a majority of the procs.
The biggest drawback is that this is main hand only. There are some alternatives such as Bottle of Gelatinous Slime at lower ends or perhaps steel hilted flint dagger. Copper Hammer of Striking really lost a lot of nostalgia for me because they changed the proc - used to be Force Shock (unresistable) but now is planar strike (sucks ***, always resisted). Sword of the Bloodsworn is similar. Venomous Axe, great as it procs often for 85dd and hardly ever resisted. You get the point..
Anyhow, take this over a lammy any day now ;)
